Riveting

I Couldn’t stop listening. I needed to know what happened next. Highly recommend for those that like a good suspenseful read.

Good story w/ some room for improvement w/ SPOILER.

Very good story from a great author. However, I could think of 2 alternative plots/endings which may have landed better….


SPOILER:




1. Amanda could have attempted to split stranger and James up by saying to stranger on the train “ how do you know James won’t run with the money”, then going with stranger back to her home and tag team with Lou.

2. Lou could have killed James when he was taking the belongings from the safe.

Just some other ideas 🙃

Spannende Storyline - spannender Thriller mit Suchtpotenzial, der unter die Haut geht. Viele Twists, man will definitiv wissen wie es ausgeht!

Had Potential

So I was looking forward to this for awhile. It was different than a lot of the junk being put out there.
Then I listened to it.

So I'm supposed to believe that 2 guys get out jail, ok. Then one happens to swipe right on this girl and finds out her mom has 20,000 pounds in a safe at home. Very convenient that one was a conman and the other a thug. And of course both guys are the most attractive men ever.

It gets crazier as it goes on, but don't want give anything away. It seemed like a lot of work and risk for only 10,000 each. Especially when they just got out of jail.

It's not bad book, definitely not based on reality. I couldn't stand that spoiled daughter who wouldn't work or go to school. Just expected her mother to give her money to travel around.

My favorite from this author

This is my favorite of the many titles from Daniel Hurst that I've had the privilege to listen to. The narrator, Deirdra Whelan, always makes for excellent listening,

It’s official that Daniel Hurst is a new fav and go to for psychological thrillers.

Action packed from start to finish

Loved story line, action packed and wondering how it would end. Loved the Powerful, smart women and getting their revenge was so sweet.

Who is who🤔

I had a really hard time figuring out who the parent was in this story. As a parent the teenage daughter grated on my last nerve. It was an interesting listen nonetheless.

Bad people but entertaining listen

Bad people throughout but it was entertaining! Enjoyed this quick listen. It was suspenseful and I was surprised.

Really enjoyed this book!!!

Great Mystery. I enjoyed the accents. Will try his other books!! St. Pancras is where my mother is from.
