About this listen
Today's Christian woman is given hundreds of different messages each day about who she should be, what she should do, and how she should look and act. What's a girl to do?
To get out of overwhelm and confusion, we need to take it back to an absolute - the game-changing reality of the Gospel.
Women are uniquely fitted to bring the Gospel into the world - God chose a woman to birth the Savior, and the first Gospel message was spread by a woman after Christ's resurrection.
But when the female body is the target of so much misuse and so many lies, and the female identity always seems to be under critique or attack, how can we develop a clear game plan for living for God in a powerful way with the special female nature that He gave us?
We need a manifesto for women who want to carry the truth of the Word into cultures around the world - and into their own homes. A simple guidebook for discovering, cultivating, and living out the expression of a Biblical woman - which has always had incredible impact in the world, and which can carry the Bombshell of the Good News in an absolutely remarkable way.
We need a Bombshell Manifesto.
Join Jackie Dixon as she leads you through her personal wrestle with the various female identities presented to women today, and the development of the 12 Pillars of a Biblical Bombshell - a woman dedicated to carrying the Gospel into the world in a fiercely feminine way.
From the often overlooked essentials of our relationship with God, to how we see and treat our bodies, beauty, and interactions with men, to sex and money and balancing tact and truth in a winsome way in acrimonious cultures, these are the 12 foundational areas of a woman's life that, when mastered, set her up to be a powerful witness to the world of the only truth that can ever set us free.

Undoubtedly, there are moments when hope is obscure. That's because hope has many hiding places. It hides behind heartbreak, camouflages in stress, and disguises itself in grief. It only takes a few disappointments before our expectations are hijacked by doubt and disbelief. Hope is easy to lose and hard to find, but there is never a season when hope is out of reach. Inspiring you towards the pursuit of hope with a lens of compassion, Sarah serves as a guide who exposes the hidden hope that awaits you each day.

Who would imagine being friends with Eve - the woman who’s been held responsible for the fall of humanity (and cramps) for thousands of years? Certainly not Sarah Jakes Roberts. That is, not until Sarah discovered she is more like Eve than she cares to admit. Everyone faces trials, and everyone will mess up. But failure should not be the focus. Your focus should not be on who you were but rather the pursuit of who you can become.

And between the two lies a world of frustration, disappointment, and the shame of somehow feeling both too much and never enough in your body. Jess Connolly knows this inner conflict all too well, and this book details her journey - and yours - of setting out to discover how to break free from the broken beliefs we all hold about our bodies that hold us back from our fullest life.

"What must I do to gain eternal life?” The rich man who asked this of Jesus was told to sell all he had and give to the poor. But, more importantly, he was told, “Come, follow me!” Franciscan Casey Cole challenges us to let go of something more difficult than material wealth: expectations, anxiety, comfort, wounds, enemies, power - and our very selves. Speaking from both personal and pastoral experience, he outlines the stumbling blocks that turn us away from following Jesus as true disciples. The response to “What must I do?” is simple but not easy: Let go. Now.

Story
How do we live out the message of Jesus in today’s ever-changing culture? The church is facing its greatest challenge - and its greatest opportunity - in our postmodern, post-Christian world. God is drawing thousands of spiritually curious “imperfect people” to become his church - but how are we doing at welcoming them? No Perfect People Allowed shows you how to deconstruct the five main barriers standing between emerging generations and your church by creating the right culture.

Story
The need for change as we get older - an emotional pressure for one phase of our lives to transition into another - is a human phenomenon, neither male nor female. There simply comes a time in our lives - not fundamentally different from the way puberty separates childhood from adulthood - when it's time for one part of ourselves to die and for something new to be born.

Follow your heart. You do you. You are enough. We take these slogans for granted, but what if this path to personal happiness leads to a dead end? In Rethink Your Self, Trevin Wax encourages you to rethink some of our society’s most common assumptions about identity and the road to happiness. Most people define their identity and purpose by first looking in (to their desires), then looking around (to express their uniqueness), and finally - maybe - looking up (to add a spiritual dimension to life). Rethink Your Self proposes looking up before looking in.

Story
Are you ever concerned that you don’t deserve to love and be loved because you are continually having to prove yourself? In You Are Beloved, Bobby Schuller shows you how to let go of these fears and put your trust in the One who sees you for who you really are. Here is an easy to follow, proven path to personal dignity for all those who think they are not good enough no matter how much they achieve. This path is illuminated by the truths that it is not about what you accomplish, but what has already been accomplished for you; not about what you have, but what has already been provided; and not about who others say you are, but who God says you are. Know that you are valued, cared for, and embraced. You Are Beloved will help you rebuild your life as a response to that assurance.

Story
In a culture that can belittle womanhood on the one hand - making it irrelevant - and glorify it on the other - making it everything - it's hard to know what it really means to be a woman. But when we understand womanhood through the lens of scripture, we see that we need a bigger category for what God has called "woman". This book breathes fresh air into our womanhood, reminding us what life in Christ - as a woman - looks like.

Amazing! Perfect for a Bookclub
Loved this book, really transformed my thinking about the journey to wholeness and healthy relationships with the opposite sex. I am looking forward to discussion with me peers. It’s a great book for a woman’s book club. I wish Jackie when further into the 12 pillars in this book, however, the brevity of this book is appreciated. It allows the reader to ponder and prayerfully seek God regard the 12, and assess where you are in the journey.

You Are A Bomb Shell! Read the Book and You Will Know
This is such a great book! every woman in the world should read this. The author takes us on a journey to discover our true identity in Christ. The steps it takes to recognize your identity are simple yet profound. There is so much wisdom in this book. I love how the author ends each chapter with action steps. as you go through the book and do the action steps, you can see what an impact it has on your life. I highly recommend this book! it would also be a great book to buy for friends, family, gifts, or just to show a fellow emerging bombshell how much you love her.
