Very enjoyable debut cozy.

Likable characters, set in Illinois where I’m at so very relatable totally enjoyed this book

A new take on the usual cozy mystery

I especially enjoyed the complications that ensued and take on a life of its own as the heroine struggles to untangle a mystery and a budding romance.

Keeps moving so keeps me listening

This author has been refreshing to listen to. First series was a total class act.
This one treaded on thin ice a couple of times in terms of pandering sex and politics but was still good and left me wanting to listen to the second book.

Excellent start to a new cozy series

I enjoyed getting to meet these characters, especially the main. I think they were well developed, and I liked the fact that the female main seemed to behave in a much more sensible and intelligent way than many of them do in these types of books. There are a couple more titles in this series and they keep getting better. I would recommend this to anybody who likes a good cozy mystery.

Narrator

The narrator was good but I don’t think she’s the right voice for the character. It was hard to get past.

Very interesting , she had a very discriptive Voice

I liked the story and I want to listen to #2 today . The whole story with her baking for
the town was a very interesting idea.

Narrator’s voice took away from the story.

The protagonist is 27, the narrator sounds much older. This took away from the story for me, as well as the way she “reads” the story. The story overall was pretty good.
