About this listen

Your past could be ruining your present relationships. Here’s how to fix it:

Do all your relationships seem to follow the same pattern, no matter who you’re with?

Do you encounter similar issues from relationship to relationship?

Do you think you’ve found the one but worry that you’re doomed to relive the same relationship problems with them?

No matter how much you want to have a problem-free relationship, it’s inevitable to run into some issues along the way.

But when your problems keep repeating themselves and are damaging your bond with your partner, you will need to look beyond your current issues and dive deep into the past.

In psychology, attachment theory explains adult relationships through the lens of parent-child relationships.

According to this theory, we develop attachment patterns with parents and caregivers in early childhood that influence how we relate to others as adults.

Your attachment styles can also determine the type of person you gravitate to in relationships, since you are looking to have your needs met in a certain way.

This can sometimes result in destructive relationships if partners are unable to have their needs met in the way they prefer.

If you want to have a better, healthier relationship than your previously disastrous ones, you will need to understand your partner’s attachment styles, as well as your own, and how these can interact in harmony.

In The Attachment Styles Mastery, you will discover:

  • How you could be unconsciously sabotaging your relationships and destroying your chance at lasting love
  • Three straightforward steps to figure out your attachment style and understand the deep-rooted motivations behind your actions
  • The attachment style that can leave you feeling frustrated and ignored, especially when things get tough in your relationship
  • Why a seemingly happy and generous partner may be privately harboring resentment towards you

Great way to learn more about your relationships

I wasn't sure if I would learn any new tips from this book but after the first couple of chapters, I found myself seeing things in a whole new way. It really makes you think deeply and can help you learn how/why your partner might think differently than you. I didn't realize there were so many different types of attachments and what we experience in our childhood, really plays a big part of our lives as an adult. You will definitely learn something from reading this. I highly recommend it.

attached yet?

I'm definitely the type that clings in a relationship. It takes me a while to get past that hump. But when I do, i get lost in love. It's been a problem my entire life. But we have to understand that the chain goes both ways, and it's a 2-way street.

Life Changer!

I was stuck in limbo with relationships, constantly making the same mistakes over and over again, falling the same traps, and regretting it every time. This book made me come to terms with this and face the facts. As the book highlights, humans are creatures of habits, often influenced by childhood. The book will really help you break out of habits you want to stop and develop experiences that are positive.

I’ve recommended this book to a friend who listened along and was also impacted by this book. I HIGHLY recommend this book. Easily 5 stars!

Interesting book

This book has a lot of useful insights. After reading, not only do I understand both my own and her attachment styles clearly, I thought I would just learn about how to have a healthier relationship. But through this book, I have been able to learned things about attachment that I will use while raising my babies. The author speaks clearly and doesn't drone on, and does a good job of sustaining the listener's attention. If you are interested in attachment styles, wondering how you might learn about them to your advantage, I would absolutely recommend The Attachment Styles Mastery.! Highly recommended

How to love better

The relationship you're in is probably not your first one, and if you are happy with it, you likely hope it will be your final one. The lessons in this book hold the key to its success and longevity. It may seem counterintuitive to try to make sense of something so natural as love, but, taking the time to learn how attachment develops in humans could save you much heartbreak. Everyone has an attachment style that was built through both negative and positive childhood experiences and reinforced by previous relationships. They shape the very way we love and give love. This straightforward and practical guide will help you understand your past traumas and improve communication with yourself and your partner, so you two can spend more time loving each other instead of loathing. The section about helping your child develop healthy attachments was an amazing bonus.
