About this listen

When the body of a local woman is discovered by the lake, the small town of Aldercreek is thrown into chaos. This tight-knit community of successful families and well-kept secrets is suddenly confronted with a dark mystery. Just as the dust begins to settle, a newcomer arrives: Eden, an outsider with quiet intensity and a hidden agenda. She knows more than she lets on, and as she digs into the town’s history, old wounds and dark secrets begin to resurface.

Beneath Aldercreek’s polished surface, Eden stirs suspicions, revealing a web of manipulation and mind games among its seemingly perfect residents. Long-buried family secrets and rivalries come to light, threatening to unravel the lives of those involved. Tension mounts as Eden’s search uncovers connections to the dead woman that no one wants exposed. Suspicion shifts from one familiar face to another, while Eden’s own motives remain a mystery, adding layers to an already suspenseful puzzle.

In this gripping, edge-of-your-seat thriller, nothing—and no one—is as they seem. As Eden’s investigation digs deeper, the stakes grow higher, forcing the residents to confront the twisted truth hiding in plain sight. This thriller is filled with dark secrets, mystery, and suspense, promising to keep readers hooked until the final reveal.

Great Story Telling

This gripping audiobook kept me hooked & I was invested in the story. The story is well-paced, mixed with suspense, drama, and twists in a way that keeps you eager to see what happens next. The characters are well developed, and the narration enhances the overall experience. Simply put, it was great storytelling.

Eden is determined to seek revenge on those that wronged her family several years before! Their actions have molded and shaped her life and although it was not all bad, her childhood was deeply affected. When she moves to a new city, she begins to uncover secrets as she figures out who actually committed the heinous act.

If you’re a fan of suspenseful and intriguing narratives, this audiobook is definitely worth a listen!.

good back bad narration

The book overall was well written, easy to follow, and believable. The narration was horrible, I almost returned it because it was so bad. If you get past that it is worth a credit.
