About this listen

Get ready for the coming bridegroom!

When many Christians think about the second coming of Jesus, they imagine apocalyptic disaster, fear and terror, and world-collapse.

But what if the second coming was more like a wedding than a catastrophe? If Jesus is returning as the bridegroom, shouldn’t his bride - the Church - focus more on deepening their commitment to him than on comparing global events to last-days timelines?

Burning with passion and zeal for Jesus, and driven by a vision to see the church revived, prophet and best-selling author Jeremiah Johnson offers a prophetic plea to the people of God: “Come to the altar! Purify yourselves for the coming Bridegroom!”

In this timely prophetic message, The Altar shows you how to:

  • Join the bridal revival that will sweep through the nations.
  • Cultivate a lovesickness for Jesus Christ and a longing for his return.
  • Become a burning and shining lamp in this generation.
  • Tear down the altar of Baal in your city and region.

The Bridegroom is coming! Are you ready for the wedding day?

Disturbing Prophecies Using Bill Bickle

Overall, it was a very scriptural end time message that our focus should be on eternity and in living pure and righteous lives. It’s spoke of how the media and entertainment often distract us because it lessens our impact on society because we are not in the word, and in prayer, and not evangelizing. Instead, all of our time and efforts are spent seeking pleasure, not necessarily sinful pleasure, but yes, it can be sinful also. He also spoke about how we can be so busy trying to shine and have a specific ministry within the local church, but often times our ministry in the workplace, in our homes, and at the supermarkets, and parks are minimalized. God has gifted each of us as Christians, but often times we want the more shinier gifts, therefore, failing to operate in the gifts that God has given us, for example being an intercessor. I read this book because I was interested in what he had to say after his false prophecy as he was one of the very few who humbly admitted he was wrong. The only parts that I had trouble with were all of the flowery, so-called, prophecies that he received. At least two of them in the book regarded a prophecy in which Bill Bickel was mentioned. We know now, four years later that he is part of the apostate church due to all of the sexual allegations against him by a plethora of women. This of course once again, makes me doubt the prophets in this modern age. In the prophets of old, it was all about repentance and return. While, he did speak on these issues, I do not feel that this book is a strong calling for us to repent and return as believers. Overall there were some very valid points made and I I am glad that I listened to it. However, I will not follow him and his ministry.

God got Glory through this one!

So thankful for truth and that the Lord used this as confirmation to what he has been speaking.

Once again we get to go into the chambers of God's

I found this book to be exceptionally challenging, because so many areas of my life and leader are unacceptable. May this stir, provoke and usher you beyond reading into radical repentance, and respect for a God who deserve more, than what we have settled for, in costless, unbracing truth dismissed neutered gospel generation we are but God is weighting in, in this hour in this book.

Amazing bible teaching

Great Bible teacher, his use of prophetic and other such words gives me caution. As an eschatology follower and believer in our Lord Christ, I cannot give higher marks for his understanding of the times and bible literacy. Yet the use of the word prophecy also gives me pause and knowing how the enemy uses these things against and knowing scripture myself must say. A prophet that gets 1 thing wrong is not a prophet. They are mislead, misleading or under the same spirit that lied to the Kings in the Old Testament. This is an amazing book for people who are strong in faith, have a understanding the times and understand what the “prophets” are now. God Bless this bible teacher and may the Holy Spirit lead to him use his words with caution.

Profound!!!

I love Jeremiah’s vulnerability and transparency. His testimony leads us to see and understand Gods faithfulness to us even when our circumstances don’t seem to make sense. Jeremiah is a true anointed Prophet for such a time as this!
