Jesus’ disciples heard every message, witnessed every miracle and deliverance and healing, and we don’t see one recorded time where they asked him, “teach us to preach", or “teach us to heal", or “teach us to deliver.” After spending three and a half years with the son of God in the flesh, they cried out to him, “We want your prayer life...teach us to pray!” They understood that Jesus’ public life of ministry was the result of his private life of prayer with the father.

It’s in light of this reality that we must begin to shift all of our discipleship and training of the next generation. We are living in turbulent days, therefore we must get back to the foundational realities of intimate connection with heaven. We must come out of the swirl of noise and busyness and distraction and reconnect to heaven so that we will see heaven’s invasion into the earth.

Tremdous Revelation

Sometimes the way the narrator accentuates words is a bit trying, but we overcome by the still small voice of Holy Spirit, and by the blood of Jesus.

Eye opening

I really liked how Corey went into depth about the importance of cultivating the rhythm of a life of prayer. He included Bible verses and used Jesus as the example. I also really liked how he touched on accessing the Holy Spirit and on fasting as a regular practice. I found it helpful since I now have more of an understanding of how to fast (the right way) and also have a new desire to step up my prayer life.

For me, the message came right on time.

It takes a man and a woman to produce a baby. It takes The Word and The Holy Spirit to manifest the promises and gifts of God. The Holy Spirit is a spirit. We are spirit too. We have a soul and live in a body. We're going to have to move from flesh to spirit. We're going to have to incorporate fasting and praying in tongues as a lifestyle. Americans eat too much anyway. We hardly ever fast. We're rarely in the spirit. We live in the flesh and stink like rotting flesh. This book is a manual and call to clean up. Yes, read your Bible, and add fasting and praying in tongues to your lifestyle.

Amazing book

I learned so much from this book, it’s really have been a blessing for my prayer life. My prayers are that everyone who read this book be blessed as I was.

If you have been drawn by the Holy Spirit in this season to deepen your prayer life with power and purpose this is the book for you. This book leaves you with the desire to know Him in a new and fresh way. It will fan the embers of your heart!

This book contains very deep revelations and authentic personal testimonies from Corey.
It‘s depth and authenticity make it very motivating and challenging.
