Great classic series with a wonderful narration

This was my first dive into the works by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. I listened to a few samples by other narrators but Edward Raleigh really made the characters come to life. There is one short story from this set that has a stand in narrator. He is good as well but I was glad when it switched back to Raleigh for the subsequent stories.

Interesting

I quite enjoyed the short stories and found myself trying to solve the mysteries and beat SH to the punch.
The narrator is very entertaining

Enjoyable but narrator listed is not correct

The book's narrator changes half way through and I feel very strongly that the narrator at the start is Fredrick Davidson. They are both fine but it is frustrating that the credits aren't correct.

Classic book but poor narration

As most classic book, it is somewhat outdated, naive, brilliant and enjoyable at the same time. I did not like this narrator.

very enjoyable - but narrator switch& odd division

Who is the other narrator? Could it be Jason Isaacs?
There is a terrible cut mid-way through a story (actually mid-way through a sentence) dividing Parts 1 and 2.

Terrific...a good set of stories

This is an enjoyable set of stories that blend together with the companionable Dr. Watson "narrating". Fun!
