The Accidental Guardian

What a wonderful story. Ms. Connelly is a marvelous story teller. The story of two sisters who survive a wagon massacre with a baby and a three year old is very heart warming. Their rescuer Trace is a young man who had survived a similar massacre ten years earlier. Together they find the men responsible for the massacre and grow to live each other. A wonderful love story. I loved this story!

Mary has written a great story! I loved her characters. They are so full and fun to learn about. She wrote a great story about the pros and cons of living at that time. Although my grandfather from the 1900’’s said that his cabins took awhile to build and were marked and taken down for a year so the logs would shrink and fit closely. But of course their cabins were great! And the height of the snow was so accurate. I loved this book!

Great story line

Loved the story line and characters. I appreciate the bond and trust the men had for each other and the respect and care they showed to the female characters. The woman were strong and understanding. I loved had the characters grew and changed in the story. The story had some good twist and kept my attention.

Enthralling story of the West with mystery.

This is a fast moving exciting story. Character development is excellent. I could hardly wait to get to the end.

This is a Great story of love, strength, endurance, and God‘s love! The story has so many facets of wonder, from very bad to very good. The characters are strong and independent and growing and learning. It’s well worth the time it takes to read or better yet to listen to the audio. Enjoy!

Beautiful love story.

This is a beautiful love story. Reminds us of the love relationship with God.
narrator was great. she made you see the beauty of Gods world with word she spoke. So often we can only see the ugliness around us, the evil that surrounds us. we forget that we have a GUARDIAN, who protects us and provides a safe harbor.
