Prayer & Fast

Our Women 's Ministry used this book as a guide for our 21 day 2023 fast. I have to say, this was an excellent read. I had the book and used the audible.

This was very helpful

Each time I listened to this audiobook it was what I needed. I pass the information along to others that I felt needed it also.

A keeper

Crystal is my bestie in my head. I will listen to the book again and again.

No script needed...Just make it plain

Chrystal's bible study up my heart towards prayer. It helped me feel more ease and free to be authentic more than anything. I don't need a script...just come to God with my whole heart and intentionality. For longtime Inlet prayer be a stumbling block or stronghold for me but no more. I don't to speak Christianese! Just the four tenets Praise, Repentance, Ask/requests and yield.

The word is good but it’s not worth buying the audio

The book divides it in to chapters so if you do a chapter a day, in 6 days you are done. If goal is to spend 28 days developing your prayer life, the audible doesn’t serve your purpose. I would recommend just doing the Bible app plan instead it was amazing. I am probably going to look on the Bible app for a prayer plan instead.

Background noise is too distracting.

Nothing new in this book than any other prayer book. WAY too much distracting background noise. The book should be able to stand on its own without wind and waves.

Good, but not 28 days worth

This is a great performance/read and great spoken word for studying and meditating, but it is only a little over an hour. It doesn’t tell you when the days split up, so I kept listening for almost 30minutes the first day and then finished it on day two… how is this supposed to last over 28 days and with audio, you can’t hear anything but a brief pause, which I thought was a breathing pause by reader… would be better to read I’m sure.
