Solo Jason Clarke? Please and thank you!

When Nathan's former business partner steals money and his wife, revenge has been years in the making. When he sets his sights on Isabella, his plan to corrupt his ex-partner's daughter and send the proof, he isn't expecting Isabella to be so captivating. There are some twists and surprises in this short tale, and I loved all of it.

Jason Clarke's solo narration in this Forbidden Confessions series continues to be amazing!

Revenge…hot

Great story to conclude the series. Wow…Nathan was ruthless and Izzy found her strength. Oh Nathan….breed…cringe. I wish there would have been a bonus epilogue concluding all of the friends and where their future were. Fantastic series with a phenomenal narrator!

Jason solo

I’ll say it again Jason is an amazing narrator and as a solo narrator nothing changes. Great story. He’s the Best 👏🏻👏🏻

Holy Smokes

Jason Clarke has been a favorite narrator and the stories he brings to life are simply amazing. Shayla Black is a favorite author so when I saw this was available, I grabbed it! Jason brought ALL the heat to this story!

Intense story in which the FMC comes into her strength and sexual confidence

Loved the intensity of the possessive morally Grey mmc, who was such a sucker for the FMC in the end. Excellent story.

This One Jumps the Shark

This story is SO BAD it reads as if the author was forced to write it. Just a phoned-in piece of crap that isn't believable and goes way over the top with hyperbolic catch phrases and scenes as if that would somehow satisfy instead of insult the romance reader. You know a story is bad when Jason Clarke can't save it. Frankly, I don't know how he kept a straight face reading some if this nonsense. The first several books were so good with such believable stories but after this and another one of the later titles in the series I've found I can't count on Shayla Black for consistent quality. Lesson learned.

Oh, the hypocrisy

Bad men all around, but as long as the bad man gives good O’s, all is forgiven. Jason Clarke’s sexy narration almost got me past this author’s age gap, Dom/damsel, breeding, inexperienced “Baby Girl” formula… except this novella’s hypocrisy was just too much.

She’s just left her cheating ex and has been abandoned and betrayed by her dad, so the author thinks giving her Nathan, who plans for a year to sexually use her (a completely innocent person) for revenge against a man. Nathan has no problem sexing up a girl who he thinks has a long-term boyfriend (because cheating is okay as long as he’s the one doing it). Nathan has no problem blackmailing her, taking pictures of her without her consent (and sending them to her dad), forcing her into marriage, controlling what she wears, and informing her he’ll be getting her pregnant.

But, hey, he calls her Baby Girl, gives her O’s, and apologizes after all his bad acts are brought to light.
So she forgives him and lives HEA. Yeah right.
