Absolutely perfect

I LOVED this story! It was just absolute perfection. The narrators were amazing and added so much to the story! I couldn’t stop listening to it.

I waited to long to listen

Being a reader / listener I have a TBR list that often looses the books I was once excited to check out, and as I listened to the another it briefly mentioned this author so brought it back.

I enjoyed this audio, the performance was so great it was as if the characters themselves told me their story. The book itself held some angst and situations where side characters had me upset at their gullibility since the "bad" was obvious from the start, the couple has a connection from the start, however as a spoiler will say she fought more but in the end the our Hero makes up for some intense moments and brings the HEA home.

Passionate!

I really liked this book, not only do you get a great love story you get much more… the passion Lex and Theo have for each other and for their career is inspiring, heartwarming and sizzling hot! The narration is so so good! Ava and Teddy really brought these characters to life. Loved it!

Great Story, Great Narration

If you’re wanting a story that is worth your credit but not so riveting you lose sleep listening all night, this is it.

Really good book

This is my first book from K.K. Allen and I really enjoyed it. The narrators did a great job to Ava is a fav on mine for sure. Great job

Love and Dance

I really enjoyed this one. The fact that this book is narrated by one of my ultimate narrator duos and the fact I really loved the story, this makes for one hell of a listen. I was hooked to the story right away. The dancing world that Theo and Lex live in was one I thoroughly enjoyed. It was as much about them as dancers as it was about their growing relationship. There is some drama, but I think K.K. Allen did it in a great way and left me satisfied by the end that I really just didn't even care. Ava Erickson and Teddy Hamilton make every book they narrate beyond enjoyable. I really loved this audiobook. It was great to listen to.

Great story to start the series

There are some great characters in this story. Of course, the main characters, Theo and Lex, but also Shane (love him- I think a book for him would be great) and then some of the other dancers are charming and fun. I liked this slow burn romance although I have to admit that it felt a little obvious what was going to happen. However, in general, I would consider this pretty low angst and the couple had some ups and downs but quickly remembered that they are stronger together :D

Ok, I listened this book for Teddy Hamilton, I admit it. And he and Ava Erickson were fantastic in the audiobook.They totally elevated the story and provided such a great auditory experience to me. Definitely a must listen.

Beautiful and passionate story

The passion was not only in the relationship but also in the art! Theo and Lex had an amazing passion for dance that ultimately was their beautiful combination. Such a wonderful story that the narrators brought to life perfectly

AN EXCELLENT STORY AS FORBIDDEN BECOMES FOREVER

Sometimes the Escape listen books stay in my ‘not yet listened to’ library for a wee while as I pick and play the new releases which is really stupid because they are not lesser books just because they’re free.. in fact, like in this instant, they are so so much more. And this beautiful little gem totally took me by surprise.. because I wasn’t expecting it to be quite so unique, captivating, intoxicating and emotionally turbulent as it was. Forbidden, a line never to be crossed, careers could be destroyed and hearts could break.. but the close proximity of the timid dancer and moody choreographer, the awareness and lure that pulsed and pulled.. and the sizzling chemistry that flared between Theo and Lex built and built until it was inevitable that they would eventually.. and beautifully, break the rules.

I loved the emotions that swirled through the scenes, I enjoyed the slow-build as Fate and Destiny cleverly conspired, I held my breath as someone wicked weaved a web that would ensnare, I was giddy with anticipation as the passion and romance flared.. and I clapped in gleeful delight that happiness and contentment eventually loomed bright. Great dual POV narration by Ava and Teddy brought the heartbeat to the characters, brought the tension and touchstone chemistry to the scenes, brought the sizzles to the sexcapades, brought the dedication loyalty and legitimate fears to life.. and finally brought love to center-stage - right where it belonged.

Worth a credit? Yes, I would’ve been quite happy if I’d spent a credit on this.. but I’m ecstatic that I didn’t have to.
