Soulmates I cheered for

Ah, panic attacks and medical practitioners, soulmates with an artist soul. Loved it. The narrator has a very soothing voice so try not to listen at bedtime or she'll whisper you straight out to dreamland.

Enjoyed the MC's and the will they won't they- a love that was quite timeless. The perfect book to get lost in for a short time and instead of feeling exhausted by the epilogue; you feel refreshed and a bit starry-eyed.

The story and the characters had depth. Looking forward to more from Sienna Waters. Also, loved Anna Fox's narration.

A nice twist on grumpy sunshine

I enjoyed all the characters in this book. I like that we dealt with mental illness, but not in a trivial way. Too often panic attacks are just something people magically get out of. although I am a little skeptical at the severity of these panic attacks being overcome in such a way, at least we have actual therapy and effort going into it.

The relationships and friendships all seem very real and relatable.

People were very very white though. It would have been nice to have a bit of diversity there.

I bought this audiobook on cover alone. It was a wonderful book. Funny sad amazing characters and great love story. Thanks

Mesmerizing

This is with out a doubt the best audio book I have ever heard. The combination of the story, and the narrator come together in a perfect storm. At points you feel as though you are a part of one of the characters and you are just floating above it all, watching.

the tension & contrast between seeing things from the viewpoints of the "mystic" to, for lack of a better term, the "real".

the narration, from expressed emotions and situations, was terrific but lacked some definition between characters.

So much to love here

I'm not sure if it's the story or if its the narrator, or both but this was such a refreshing treat. I listen to A LOT of lesbian romance. This is my first experience with Sienna Waters and it's been delightful. It's also my first experience with Anna Fox and I'm totally smitten. Her narration is top tier. While there's a lot of anxiety in this story, the calm, the connection, the falling in love, fighting it all the way, is beautiful. The peace emanating from Jay's paintings is felt throughout this whole book, despite us never seeing them. It's a must.

A relaxing book

A well written story. Slow but interesting. Great MC. Narration was excellent well fitted to book.

Opposites Attract

An artist who believes in the mystic stuff and a doctor who has panic attacks and believes in science. J knows Charlie is her soulmate, but Charlie doesn't believe in such stuff. So friends with benefits is the way to go for J, with the hopes Charlie will see that they really are soulmates. Can a relationship work with a doctor who is a workaholic?

Heartwarming

The book begins like one of Jaye's paintings. It's descriptive and immersive right away and pulls you into the character's space. And the narration keeps you there. It's the kind of book that made me feel better and better as it went on. It was hopeful and positive. It was warm and inviting like the cocoa the characters enjoyed in the book. The cocoa that allowed them the time and space to get to the point that they needed to be at in order to let their emotion tell its truth. I loved the book.
