About SCP foundation

Mankind in its present state has been around for a quarter of a million years, yet only the last 4,000 have been of any significance.

So, what did we do for nearly 250,000 years? We huddled in caves and around small fires, fearful of the things that we didn't understand. It was more than explaining why the sun came up, it was the mystery of enormous birds with heads of men and rocks that came to life. So we called them "gods" and "demons", begged them to spare us, and prayed for salvation.

In time, their numbers dwindled and ours rose. The world began to make more sense when there were fewer things to fear, yet the unexplained can never truly go away as if the universe demands the absurd and impossible.

Mankind must not go back to hiding in fear. No one else will protect us, and we must stand up for ourselves.

While the rest of mankind dwells in the light, we must stand in the darkness to fight it, contain it, and shield it from the eyes of the public, so that others may live in a sane and normal world.

Great introductio

It was very good narrative to introduce someone to SCP universe. Bravo had very good time. Could be longer.

Little Short

Little Short but good over all nice little story on SCP gives some insight to SCP FOUNDATION just wish it was longer.

scp audiobook

i love scp but i don't understand why this is broken in two. needs to be combined with part 2

Very interesting!

I've been a fan of the scp community for years now. I thoroughly enjoyed this story, however, I feel as though newcomers who don't understand the lore would feel a bit lost. Despite this, it was well written and preformed! I highly recommend for other scp fans as well!

The narrator good, the story meh

The narrator had a nice, clear, soothing tone. The story itself was a bit... bland and took a little effort to keep up with the abrupt scene switches.

Not that great as far as scp stories go. I've read a lot of them and this just wasn't very good.

not well written, and basically blasphemy... sigh

not compelling, and not really in line with the quality I have seen in so many other SCP stories... wasted money sadly.
