Creepy Unique Horror Shorts

Tales from the Park Land is a book of unique and creepy stories that will give you pause to think as well as make sure your windows and doors are locked securely. I enjoyed this book full of short horror tales full of suspense, drama, horror, ghouls and creatures. I highly recommend this book to horror book lovers. The narration was on point and done superbly. I received this book for free upon my request. I am voluntarily leaving this honest and unbiased review here of my own volition.

Very Good Stories of Horror & Supernatural

This is a collection of various stories that are well written and at tge end of ach, makes you really think. Narrator does a nice job with these different stories and the timber of the stories.

Ooo these were fun!

This book of short stories was nice and spooky! The stories were chilling and perfectly excited by the narrator. Defiantly a great listen and worth it!

Very Enjoyable: smart and to the point

Its a roll of the dice with short stories on here, but this one is definitely worth a listen. These are all short (except the last one) but very well written with fun punchlines at the end of most. The author builds suspense exceptionally well. My one complaint is that it seems the author has a bit of a (hopefully just subconscious) misogynist streak as nearly every single female character in these stories is a combination of either weak, bewildered, indecisive, hysterical, or downright b*tchy. It's pretty disappointing to see the "what's going on Jim?! what's happening?!" era of female characters rear it's pathetic head amongst what is otherwise some very good writing.

This is a great collection of 11 short spooky horror stories and 1 longer novella at the end. Such a fun read!! Most of these stories are filled with creepiness and darkness!
A few standouts for me are:
-The Garbage Collectors
-Ubiquity
-Typo
-A Late Night Call

I listened to the audio version and the narrator did a very good job also! This is my first book from this author, but I’ll definitely be looking for more!

No Buyer’s Remorse

I liked all the stories, and that almost never happens for me with a collection. What grabbed my attention was the reference to the Crate Monster from the Creepshow. To this day, as a matured grown man, I still remember how scary that was. I was a little disappointed with some of the dialog in Harmony, because I thought it was ‘horror-cliché’. It was a good listen overall.

Slightly daunting short stories

A collection of short horror stories, even though they were not as scary as I expected, which is honestly fine by me as very scary stories can make me paranoid at night... 😅 Some stories have a full ending, some leave a little to your own deduction, all induce thought on what you might do in the crazy situations our characters were unwillingly finding themselves in,,. * Good narration, short format, very easy to listen to and definitely recommended!

Definitely very enjoyable. All the short stories in this book is well done. The narrator does a great job. Definitely well written. Overall excellent book to listen to.
