Enjoyable Story

I liked this story but wish it had been longer. It only gives a glimpse into the characters -- Tommy and Abby. It is well written and held my interest.

J. Bruce McRelll's narration was good and I had no difficulties listening.

I received a free review copy and this is my voluntary and honest review.

A cute. Quick listen

It’s a very quick story. I liked the characters although it’s so short you don’t get to know them well. Did not like the narration at all; too choppy and a little awkward.

You could take a chance on Tommy and Abby

Overall I liked this book. The audio performer reminded me of Casey Kasem in both voice and delivery. I did not have a print or eBook copy to compare the performance to, so am unable to comment on any deviations that may or may not be included for those who prefer to do that.

Story content review:

Tommy, a newly disabled veteran, meets Abby, a nurse technician and old classmate he doesn’t remember, again at the VA hospital where he was transferred to stateside. I wish there had been more of the book, it reads more like a prequel to a series than a new adult romance. I liked it and anyone could take a chance on Tommy and Abby while they reconnect in this short, sweet romance read.

I received a free audio copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

Taking Chances...

Short and sweet, Tommy and Abby knew each other in high school, but now they are very different people. Can they move past who they were and see where things may go?

Regina Morris has given us a glimpse into the lives of the characters. It’s such a sweet story, I wish there was more.

I had no issues with J. Bruce McRell’s narration.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

Short and Sweet

Short & sweet read, and J. Bruce McRell does a really good job narrating this. Do recommend.

Warning though. This seems more like a prequel.
