About this listen

The road for Noah Westbury has been carved out for him, long before he knew who his father was. Making sure he worked hard to deserve the opportunities provided to him, Noah is where he's dreamed of being - starting QB for Portland Pioneers. Together, with his model girlfriend by his side, life can't get much better. Except that standing in his path is Peyton Powell-James, his life-long friend and the one woman he can never have.

Peyton Powell-James always knew her future would be in football and dreams of having a successful sports journalism career once she graduates college. After being given the assignment to cover a professional game from the sidelines, Peyton believes that everything is going to plan. Until one fateful night changes her life.

Harsh reality sets in for Noah and Peyton. One could lose everything, while the other struggles to keep the families together.

The climax was stressful

This author had me until Dezi came to the hospital. Then the story went to shit because of forced cliche ass story lines. Especially because he is clearly stupid enough to not ask for proof of a child let alone a dna test. This “plot twist” was so unnecessary it’s crazy. Constantly saying you’re staying for a kid that you don’t even know exist is pure stupidity and not a lick of loyalty or benefit of doubt towards your significant other is an excuse to be naive but I digress. This cliche ass climax took this book from a 5 to a 3.5 at best. After being able to see how Peyton interacts with him after his nonsense I give it the 5 still 🙄

Noah & Peyton Love Story

Communication between MC’s is needed. There love story is mild compared to his father and mother’s. He echoed his father in many ways and when he asked for their advice he ignored them and went stupid. The FMC always waited for him. Great narration.

Good, but my least favorite of the Beaumont series

This story was a bit frustrating, Noah was kind of stupid and no one would would be as trusting/stupid and it felt like it drug the story out.

A forever 5 star listen

This is a fantastic series from a fantastic author that knows how to tell a fantastic story . Love how this is the next generation audio. Hope this series never ends .
This story is about Noah and Peyton . They are two best friends that have known each other forever , their entire lives . They have feelings for each other but they are either afraid of the feelings or afraid to bring the feelings to the surface. Once once did they let their feelings come to the forefront.
Noah has moved on to Portland , becoming a star quarterback. Peyton has loved the thought of being on the sidelines and telling the football game the way it should. She gets her chance in Chicago. On the sidelines of a Beats game . But something happens, a terrible accident, that completely destroys the whole family, no Payton didn’t die , but it’s eye opening, not only for the whole family but more importantly to Noah . He knows he has to try to convince Peyton to hang on . Noah knows he has to find a way to have Peyton in his live forever .

This story will have your heart bleeding, with sorry , hope and finally with love .

The team of Nelson Hobbs (who I can listen to forever ) and Stephanie Rose , who is a fantastic female narrator, both are strong , steady , clear and beyond 5 starts

Beautiful Love

I have had this audiobook in my library for a while and have been holding off. I started this on my my way home from work and it was a beautiful story. There were times that I said spiteful things to Noah and even cried. Ultimately, I am so glad I decided to listen.

You will not be disappointed with this story.

Bring on the tears 😭

Good story, but definitely a tearjerker. I probably cried for a third of the book, but it was worth it. Very happy ending and the narration was great!

Love the series!

I loved the original Beaumont series and this book is a great start to the next generation series. I can't wait to listen to the next one and will be a little sad when I've listened to them all. I wish they were all movies.

Awesome

This audiobook was given to me for a honest unbiased review. I Loved it. The next generation of the Beaumont series. Best Author ever. Was very clever the way Noah went through a similar problem that his parents went through. Look forward to more from this series.

A beautiful Ugly Cry

I absolutely love the idea of this spin-off series. The Beaumont Series is a favorite, one I have read five times. I can see the same happening with this series.

Noah is all grown up and doing what he loves, but without the one he loves by his side. He has settled. I sat dumbfounded, not believing the error of his ways. It became clear very quickly, that Noah is still young and like his dad will make mistakes before getting it right.

Peyton totally rocks this story. She is strong. She is intelligent. She is determined. When her life is destroyed she finds the strength to keep going.

The gang is around lending support to both. I just wish that they would have butt in earlier with Noah. The boy needed a reality check. Thankfully love does conquer all and helps Noah grow up.
