Action packed Si-Fi with a little romance

Would you listen to Taken again? Why?

I would listen to it again but first I want to hear the last book in the series "Solox"

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the fast action. Loren has been on the search around the world for Kilix and when she finds him, he is not sure he feels the same about her. Problem

Which character – as performed by Joshua Bennington – was your favorite?

Peter captures the book and the narrator gives him such a personality that it is hard to dislike such a bad guy.

TREMENDOUSLY entertaining audio book, a must buy!

What did you love best about Taken?

I loved the villain Peter as done by Joshua Bennington. Reading the book never gave me the same impression of Peter that I got from hearing him speak.

This book was even better than the first book. More action and quicker events. I can not wait to hear the third book! I enjoyed the first two books very much and recommend them.

THE HIGH GEAR HUNT FOR KILIX

What did you love best about Taken?

WOW...the story takes off as Loren search's for Kilix. She travels the world to find him and bring him home.

What did you like best about this story?

The story is the continuation of the first book. It was less about Kilix and more about Loren and her search for Kilix. But what I liked best was the personality of the new character Peter.

Which character – as performed by Joshua Bennington – was your favorite?

Peter, the arch villain. What a character! He steals the show. The author has given him the roll of the bad guy and the narrator has given him life. Peter is cocky with a British accent.

Any additional comments?

This second book is as good as the first, and may be better. It gets a little wild at the end but it certainly keep my attention. I would recommend both books and I will be reading the third book next..

KIDS FIGHT AI OF THE WORLD

What did you love best about Taken?

The book was a fast paced, non-stop adventure that takes Loren to the far corners of the earth. in search of Kilix. There is a new scoundrel to the cast with a personality of a snake. He makes the book more enjoyable.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved the portrayal of Peter from his voice to his actions. Teddy Chapins creation of this character and the voice Joshua Bennington give him brings a lot to this audio book.

What does Joshua Bennington bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Joshua Bennington gave the characters life. There is another dimension that comes when a voice is added and his narration was very entertaining. I felt that I could almost picture the characters in the book. He also gave every one his or her own voice. I good reading!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

The book was hard to turn off and yes if I could I would have listened longer.

Get the audio book, you will not be disappointed!!!!!

Young Lady hunts for Her Love

Would you consider the audio edition of Taken to be better than the print version?

Yes...all audio book version are better than the printed version. I enjoy hearing them while I drive or work with my hands.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Taken?

The most memorable moment of the book was when Loren finaly finds Kilix and Kilix don;t understand how much she loves him/ A real heart breaker.

What does Joshua Bennington bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Joshua Bennington brings the story to life. He gives the characters a personality and life. He did a particualy good job with the character "Petter". I am not sure if it was just the way Peter talked or his voice that made him such an amusing villain..

Any additional comments?

I gave this production of the book a five star rating because it was fast and thrilling. This second book in the series was much more entertaining than the first book.."Kilix". I can not wait to hear the third book. I hope the author has that same narrator.do his third book!

LOREN'S ADVENTURE TO FIND KILIX

What made the experience of listening to Taken the most enjoyable?

The most enjoyable part of the book was listening to Peter. He is the bad guy some times and a good guy other times. It is hard to dislike him, but he is the villain of the book. You want to see him dead but then again you don't. Great character created by Mr. Chapin and brought to life by Mr. Bennington's narration.

What does Joshua Bennington bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Joshua Bennington brings audio books alive. He did a supper job with Peter in this book.

Any additional comments?

I would recommend the the book if for no other reason than Peter. The book is the next in line after "Chronicles of Kilix" I found this one more entertaining and fast moving. I am looking forward to listening to the third book "Solix"

If you could sum up Taken in three words, what would they be?

FAST, ACTION, ADVENTURE

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the fast action and the interplay between Loren and the AI. I also liked the new character Peter. He was a likable villain and gave a counter balance to Loren.

Which scene was your favorite?

When Peter sells out Kilix to the head of the AI was my favorite scene. You know that the AI is some where from the first book and now it has a personality, thanks to the voice narrator gave it.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

This was the second book in Mr. Chapin,s three book series. The first book was good but the second book was even better. I want to read the third book or hear it if it comes out in the audio book format.

This book was very exciting and fast moving, and the new character Peter charges the book with additional energy.
