This book was really good at helping to get to the root of thoughts. Good ways to help take thoughts captive then what to do next. Will
Be listening multiple times to help keep my mind in check. I love some of the hard hitting truth bombs. Well worth it.

This is well thought out with leave behinds for further instruction and practice. Scriptures are helpful. Good research.

Worth the listen!!! I would’ve paid for this book!!

This book truly helped with my thinking!!! It’s very practical, well written, and not so wordy!!! I think it’s perfect! Definitely leads you to Jesus!!!

Reading back to back!

I loved this book. Even though it’s audio it’s great to put on and hear in my ear rather than music or my own thoughts because if you’re reading this book then you understand what I mean when our thoughts get to taking over. It took about a week to listen to it bc I started then stopped a lot. This week coming up I’ll be reading it again but this time around I plan to take notes. I am started to mentally and physically speak out of my mouth the following when I get too much on my mind or when I get fussy, irritated, anxious, frustrated, you know…ALL the feelings and emotions that keeps me down and sidetracked.

“I take captive of my thoughts and I am submitting and surrendering them to my Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ. When I am empty, He fills me up. He satisfies me. Thank You, Amen”

I just keep saying it until I don’t anymore. I then turn on a Christian audio or worship music to keep me focused bc the enemy is indeed working to get my thoughts back on the negative.

Really good

Really good information. Repetitive but good. I enjoyed this audio book. I listen to them while cleaning, makes it go faster.

Useful book

I did enjoy this audio version of Take Thoughts Captive. It was interesting to see how often the different translations of the Bible are used. It does make me want to investigate these differences more completely.

There are definitely useful suggestions given in this book. I didn't actively participate in the "homework" as I was more passively listening while doing work. I was disappointed that the workbooks that were often referenced as downloadable were pointed at a defunct page. I did find Kelly Balarie's website, but there was no place for me to download those there either.

The Narrator did a good job reading the book, I honestly just seem to prefer audio books read by the author, which is why I gave it less than 5 stars.
