I enjoyed the how and why for praying the Psalms. This book gives an explorer the types of Psalms.

The portion covering Bonhoeffer’slife gave a bit of insight to the man that he had become and his full reliance on God.

Meaningful Psalms

A deeper understanding and confidence of God’s Psalms. They are His prayers for us to reflect on and discover truth through, but also His prayers so that we may pray them. Thus, we know they’re perfect prayers and will be answered in His power.

Short but good

Anything from Bonhoeffer is always full of wisdom and this is no exception, even if it’s short. Narrator is good as well and enjoyed the small biography at the end.

amazing book

There are so many things I enjoyed about this book. George W. Sarris has a wonderful, calming voice that made listening to it a pleasure. I have many books on the subject of the Psalms, and I have learned from each one. This one is one I will listen to many times, as it is rich in doctrine. It is very much worth the cost.

Walking the Walk

A great reminder that the Text really is all that we need. In the end it will lead to eternal life.

Short, but powerful

This is the first time I have read this, but it won’t be the last. There is much depth in the words of Bonhoeffer and I expect to study them for a long time.

I wish to be friends with men such as Bonhoeffer who knew Christ personally and acted in firm conviction.
