About this listen
As F'lorna tries to readjust to life as a River-dweller, she feels the battle of two Eternal Memories (River-dweller and Lake-keeper) raging inside of her, filling her with shame and confusion. She struggles with depression and the fear of sleep, trying to stay busy teaching River-dwellers and Marsh-landers the Adoration of swordcraft.
The Marsh-landers begin to thrive in their new home, and they adopt the previously unknown material of steel that F'lorna introduces. Raecli finally accepts her life as a Sand-shaper, and delicate embers of tenderness between her and the landowner's son emerge. Finally, Chieftain Lothar's galleys are launched onto the waters to claim the rightful heiress to his lands.
Can F'lorna's family and friends help her overcome trauma to embrace a unique life that could possibly bind multiple lands of the unfolding world of Rodesh?

Third book in series. dose not stand on its own well.
This is the third book in The Violet Moon series. Do not read this if you haven't read the first two.
This book suffers from middle book syndrome. The phenomenon where a book in the middle of a series lacks its own plot arc and instead is just a bridge between one book and the next.
This book jumps between different characters, plots, and setting. None of which you will come to care about or get to know unless you have read the first two books.
My apologies if I sound overly harsh. If you have read the first two books you are likely invested and aren't reading reviews for a book you already intend to read.
If you are new to this series, please do not start here.
The Narrator was great though, She did different voices and had consistent accents for the various people groups.
