Loved it

Lots of suspense, a few twist, and some steamy scenes. What’s not to love. This had a little more steam than my usual read, but was good.
Also, good narrator.

You never know!

I love that I can never know what to expect from any of these books. I also love that ever character has a flaw or a blemish they are trying to work through. The fact that Noel is “ challenged” was an asome addition to this story and I love it!

Lexi Blake can grab me every time!

Hutch, Noelle and the rest of the characters display humor, frustration, and the chaos that real life brings. They are relatable, funny, heart-breaking, and complex. There is definitely heat and sizzle....and a GREAT story.

One more solid addition to the series

love visiting Sanctum every so often and this title didn't disappoint. I did find the h's naivette and stubborn refusal to listen to explanations tedious and irritating but then that was her personality. Nevertheless I liked revising old friends and look forward to the next one.

It has been a year since I listened to a Lexi Blake Book. I loved it probably more than any of the previous books. I wish more of it had taken place in the Bayou. I can’t wait to start another Lexi Blake novel.

HOT 🔥🔥🔥 suspense

Gasp-worthy surprises. I listened straight through all 14 hours and skipped sleep. Enjoyable and well-developed characters. My first Lexi Blake book and excited for more!!

Loved It, Loved It, Loved It!

Excellent storyline and plot that kept me fully engaged! I love Ian Taggert and his smart-ass ways! And I'd love to see some brilliant "Dad interactions" between Ian and his kids.

While I liked both Hutch and Noelle, they didn't make a big impact on me. The one thing I do remember about Hutch was his unique way of dealing with Noelle's disability - that was refreshing.

Kyle, on the other hand, stole my heart, and I was rooting for him throughout the whole story! I sincerely hope he gets his own book!

I thoroughly enjoyed Kyle's uncensored honesty, particularly when he prevented a second, potentially huge misunderstanding between Hutch and Noelle at Sanctum. I get so tired of when the hero "protects" his lady by withholding explanations and then shoulders all her anger and blame... That scenario has been done to death, and this time Kyle blew it wide open, yay!

I also enjoyed the car conversations between Kyle and Noelle when she wanted insight and answers about Hutch... Kyle was a captive audience desperate for a way out, and Noelle handled him brilliantly!

And Kyle's use of duct tape made me shake my head and chuckle out loud...well, of course he'd do that... my hero!

MayB was another one who stole my heart... from the way she dressed to her skills to her bravery... I want more MayB!!!!!!

I want more!

I read these books and they take me out of my head. I am so confused by the negative reviews. This story delivers exactly what it was selected to do (if you want real world romance, it’s around us every day - I choose not to read what I can live). I love the author, every book in this series, the forward momentum, and the characters…I select this author for a reason and she never fails to deliver. The narrator is amazing.

For the haters, if do not like the BDSM world, pick something else to read.
