From the Author: "Observing how gospel doctrine studies were designed to cover large tracts of the Book of Mormon without taking the time to analyze individual passages, or, alternately, how individual passages were taken out of context to ‘prove’ a popular interpretation, I wrote the present work as a teacher supplement with the hope that students would notice the trees as well as the forest and how each fit into a larger whole. I found the Book of Mormon a ‘most correct book’ rhetorically in its consistent use of terms and typologically in its development of types."

Indeed, Augustine produced a great amount of evidence to prove that paganism was responsible for this event. However, by the time the work was finished, the book had taken on a larger theme.

I really liked and agreed with most of the content of this book but it was very difficult to focus on said content due to the readers way of speaking. The book was almost read like an infomercial of some sort.
