Inheriting your uncle's supervillain business is more complicated than you might think. Particularly when you discover who's running the place. Charlie's life is going nowhere fast. A divorced substitute teacher living with his cat in a house his siblings want to sell, all he wants is to open a pub downtown, if only the bank will approve his loan. Then his long-lost uncle Jake dies and leaves his supervillain business (complete with island volcano lair) to Charlie. But becoming a supervillain isn't all giant laser death rays and lava pits.

Riveting series
I absolutely loved this series. It was great seeing the characters grow. Some sad moments when we lost some treasured characters. Thank you for a great series I will be happy to read over and over.

Great end to the series
Some really good series end purple but this one does not disappoint. If you've listened this long, treat yourself and finish it!

Enjoyed the whole series
I bought the first two trilogy’s during the bogo sale, they were so good I had to find out what happened next, bought the final three books individually and found them to be well worth the credits! Excellent narration!

what a wonderful series of books

An end with a...
New beginning full of potential with other series in the world possible. This is/was an excellent series. I picked up the first two trilogy sets from the sales event and then couldn't stop. Thankful for the author's writing and the narrator's voice. I want to be Stormborn too...

Every war ends eventually
A satisfying conclusion to the trilogy. Although there a few threads left I would like followed up on in one more adventure.

Stunning and emotional
Beautiful full circle ending to an amazing series! Truly, this company has come to feel more like friends to me than characters in a book. Seeing these allies go through so much was well worth the satisfaction of the ending. Brilliantly written and vividly narrated.

So sad it’s over
An amazing series. Great character development, world building, and overarching lessons about friendship and fighting corruption. All 8 books were incredible
