Great story line and narrators

Good handling of very frightening but real things that happen too frequently in too many women's lives. also good primary story line.. Looking forward to more Havens stories.

Really liked it

To me this is a great balance of romance a little suspense and small town charm.

Zachary is a wild child. Never wanting to settle down because the girl of his dreams he blew it with a kind time ago. That is until an accident that puts all things into perspective. Now he will stop at nothing to make her his.

Marigold is a book worm. She has always had her head in the clouds dreaming of mister perfect. A handsome rich man comes into town and sweeps her off her feet. She is caught up in the “idea” or him that she might be overlooking some red flags. Is he her Me. Darcy? Or is he hiding something dark?

Who will she end up with? What will happen to her?

Liked it… at time pretty predictable but that does not bother me. In fact I am marking this author as a cozy author… makes me feel happy when I finish.

The Havens Make me so Happy!

I loved diving into another Claire Kingsley. Such a great read. I can't wait for the next one.

Storms and Secrets is the second book in the series and has a little heat, a lot of heart, fantastic characters, some suspense, hilarious Laugh out loud scenes, tear jerking moments…and of course…the SPS!

What seems like a second chance for Zachary Haven (after a near-death experience) and Marigold Martin (AKA…An angel)…might have just been a close call, after Marigold meets the delicious “man of her dreams”. Sigh….sorry Z.

Anywayyyyyy….this was an absolutely amazing read!!! I loved it so much that I listened to the audiobook after reading it and it was like reading it again for the first time!!! Samantha Brentmoor and Teddy Hamilton were PERFECTION!!!! SOOOOO Great and I am so glad we are getting the Haven sibling's stories now, too!!!!

Shocking brings love to light

Zach and Marigold have a complicated past but when he almost dies after getting shocked, he knows that he has to tell Marigold that he loves her. So many things are keeping them apart. He tries his best to show her that they belong together. I really liked the narration and that the three main characters had different narrators.

Claire wrote an amazing romantic suspense! Storms and Secrets follows Zachary Haven and Marigold Martin on their journey to each other and of love. Zachary is the brother known for screwing up everything, he gets in trouble with the law for starting bar fights on a regular basis but something has changed! That something is that he gets electrocuted while fixing a light fixture in Marigold's salon. While he is unsure if he's going to die or not he realizes he's got one regret in his life, how he's treated Marigold since she was in high school. So Zachary comes up with a plan to make Marigold his.

Marigold Martin is a romantic at heart and just waiting for her Mr. Darcy to come sweep her off her feet and carry her off into the sunset. Then a handsome stranger comes into her salon to get his haircut and does just that, he takes her on an epic first date and sends her flowers every day. Then Zachary starts to interfere with her dates to get her to realize that Preston isn't the guy for her but him instead. It isn't until a blind double date that Marigold starts to realize that Preston isn't as wonderful as she thought he was.

On top of the "who to date" drama that Marigold is dealing with, she becomes a where of a missing teenager when she is asked to put up a missing persons flier in her salon window. Find out who took the missing teenager whose picture is up all over town and who kidnaps Marigold during a big storm. Zachary and his brother Garrett work together with the SPS and the rest of the town to find bother missing women before something worse happens than just them missing, but who really took them and where could they be being kept?

I listened to the audio version of Storms and Secrets and Samantha Brentmoor, Teddy Hamilton, and Desiree Ketchum do an amazing job bringing the story to life! Storms and Secrets is book 2 in the Haven Brothers series and is a standalone but is recommended to be read in series order. This is a 5/5 star for me! The story is amazing and the narrators did a 5/5 star performance as well! The spice level for this is 4/5.

I’ve read books 1-3 and this one is by farrr my favorite!

I loved this book. So well done, well crafted and I loved Zac. The epilogues were just so precious. Highly recommend this series and this book!

Aawwww back in Tillikam. My happy place. I really am loving the Haven brothers. I am not gonna lie, I was kind of disappointed when it was announced that Marigold and Zachary were going to be a couple. I thought Zach didn't deserve Mari..... well. I was freaking wrong! I loved Zach and Mari together. I will never doubt CK again. Haha. I have learned my lesson. Zach took me by surprise, to be honest. I am loving these hidden layers of emotions the Havens have, and we have obky read about 2 of the 6 brothers. Swoooonn!!! I love Zachary's antics. The accidental piercing had me laughing so hard. Oh my hell. I think there were several spots where I would just randomly start laughing. The humor in this was spot on! Yet the Romantic suspense was excellent as well. I know a lot of people have renewed appointments out the lack of spice, but truthfully, CK writing is incredible. I wasn't even missing that element. I loved everything about this book and the characters. Another win for me IN CK's world.

Teddy freaking Hamilton and the wonderful Samantha Brentmoor are the two amazing g humans who brought #zarigold to life. They were perfection and in my opinion. These two can do no wrong.

I liked that the love story and the mystery were both fast paced

Very good narration and an engrossing story. I enjoy the lighter books where the darkness is not so dark that it's depressing. This gave me just enough to keep my interest.

Funny, Gorgeous but Darker Content

This book! Storms and Secrets have the humor that Claire Kingsley is known for and the suspense plot is really good. Marigold Martin and Zachary Haven both pined for each other, but Marigold thought that Zachary hated her. A rich, handsome and perfect man comes in town that sweeps Marigold off her feet. Zachary, however, isn’t having none of that nonsense. Eventually, Marigold sees just how much of a “cockmuppet” this man is. Zachary sees that he is more dangerous than a rude name.

The romance is really good. There was a bond there despite a past hurt, which made for their romance to feel more authentic and meaningful. The suspense plot was darker than I have read from Claire Kingsley before, but it was really good. We get the point of view of a missing person, which added to the plot and didn’t take away from the romance between Zachary and Marigold. The small town feel is still there like an old friend, as well as the Tilikum squirrels.
