About this listen

The Space Team Universe has been changed forever!

Having journeyed through time in order to restore peace to the galaxy, Cal Carver and Space Team are a little dismayed to find out they may have inadvertently made things even worse.

Whoops.

Captured by an unfamiliar alien species, the crew is banished to a life of slavery in the Mustard Mines of Moktar, where they come face to face with the sinister Manacle - a terrifying new enemy whose diabolical agenda is worse than any they have encountered before.

With the clock ticking and thousands of lives at stake, Space Team must race across the galaxy, stop Manacle's evil scheme, and save the day once more.

But first, they have to escape...

Featuring space gnomes, sand stomachs, and the sexiest facial paralysis in history.

The VA who played Garonk was delightfully annoying

I hate the fact that there was a evil Cal Carver. Because of him the Greyx, the wolf people are destroyed. Good thithing that piece of shizz is dead, dead, dead!

Lauren can’t drive! Cal still calls “XY” “SpaceXY”! There is zero character development.

Could be a great series if characters were dynamic, not static, trope spewing, low level writing vehicles for bad jokes. Still love it but God does it drive me nuts when Lauren crashes or Mizz sexually harasses Cal. Was funny three times in the first book, then it became the flogging of a dead horse.

Prefer the original

Have loved all the books in thus series, listened to them all several times. Thought I would give the dramatized version a try, the actors were very good but the books just aren't the same without Phil Thron doing the voices, the new actors and voice effects just don't convey the characters the same way. it's harder to accept the characters in this version.
