Great read/ listen

Extraordinary Series

Now I can finally sleep. I listened to the entire series, all ten books, in four days. I just finished the last box set at 6 AM. The series is so good that I hated to see it end. I thoroughly enjoyed every book in the series. The interaction among the main characters was fascinating to watch unfold. This would make a phenomenal series on Netflix. Ms. Ash has a gift for unique story telling. The voice actors were perfect.

I really enjoyed these 10 books and it’s bitter sweet it’s over I loved the voices that brought this story to life !! I will miss the characters !!

Great finish.

I really enjoyed this series and it will definitely be one that stays with me. I did get a little annoyed with Mari in the 7th book, but she found her back bone again. The growth and changes to their relationship kept the stories progressing quickly. The novella that ends this omnibus was the perfect ending.

Utter perfection!

This has become one of my favorite series. It will absolutely be a comfort read. I love these characters SO MUCH! Shadow is my everything! I'm so so proud of how far everyone has come 😭 this was a wild, intense, steamy, action packed, amazing, utterly perfect series 🖤 thank you for letting me be a part of this world, Crystal 🖤 and thank you even more for writing spin-off books and series because I am not ready to leave this world yet 😘

Haven’t finished yet, but need to voice some frustration with Mari!

I wasn’t sure at first about the book, then decided I loved it. I love the story line, characters and narrators. Where I’m at in the book I’m wondering why it was made a reverse harem. It definitely seems to focus on Mari and Shadow. She definitely has a favorite and the others are just there. The way she treats Reaper though is infuriating. I absolutely HATE it and HATE her for it. She has so much understanding for Shadow and he deserves it. But had no understanding or care for Reaper, what he’s been through and why he is the way he is. Idk if it gets better. I feel like she should just let the others go and just have Shadow. She doesn’t care about the other guys feelings. That’s the only thing I don’t care for and it’s a big negative for me.

so made it to the end of 10th book and it was great. even take out thr RH and what a great imagination to these books. can definitely recommend

Magnificent series.

This review is of all the books (1-10). Typically don’t rate and review unless I feel strongly about it. Many why choose novels are excellent, but lack that something that drags you into the story. I think in order to have books that do that, the love story has to be epic and all-consuming. You find that more often on regular MF romance novels. It’s difficult to accomplish in why chose novels.

But…this series accomplished that in an epic way. The author brought me into the story (showed as opposed to tell). The emotional response to several situations was very potent. Yes this series has lots of steam, but there are long stretches without, that is how it should be during those time. You don’t miss it, because the story is happening in the world and not at home. Mari’s relationship to Reacher and Shadow was beautifully epic. It was lacking with gunner and juando. It wasn’t obvious during the series, just later after reflecting on it. This is definitely worth credit, or paying for the whisper sync discount.

I absolutely LOVED the entire series BUT Shadow was my most favorite person in the the series. Every emotion was activated. Thank you for sharing your brillant mind with us.

Best series ever

Great stories great characters. I didn’t want the series to end. I will be reading more from this author because she’s really really good. Please take the time to read this series. You will enjoy it.
