Oh the emotions in this sports romance!

Tissues needed. The story was unique. Brother’s best friend is my fave and I’ve never read or listened to one like this. I enjoyed the banter between them and the memories of their past added a special layer to the romance. You will not see the two big twists coming at the end. It’s an unforgettable sports romance.
My favorite quotes/narration :

"He still melts me like butter on a hot roll.”

His dimples and smile put everyone at ease. And Jesus, his body could start a fire in the rain.

“Jack told Avery you were in good hands. My hands Kenni, mine. He trusted me with your heart. Now I need you to trust me with it.”

Lee Samuels is one of my favorite narrators. He’s pure perfection in this one.
And CJ Bloom gives a fantastic performance. Letting us hear and feel Kenni’s pain and heartache.
Must read or listen or both like me!

Worth a credit!

Narrators were great! I always love CJ Bloom. This story is an easy listening, 🌶️🌶️🌶️/5, has easy to love characters, some angst and sadness, some laugh out load parts, and an HAE. Can be read as a standalone.

Absolutely phenomenal

Kenni and Wils love story always blows me away. Their second chance is well worth the tears (happy and sad) and worth the read. The audio was also amazing and brought these two to life more than I knew I needed. 10/10 will always recommend.
