A good primer for embedding security Into a company

This book helps organizations understand the nuances and issues into embedding a security program early into their architecture. It’s illustrates that security is not a bolt on function, but must be considered very early on to any new organization. It also shows the risks that are evident when security does not report correctly into the executives of the organization. Security has ceased to be an IT function, and is truly a corporate risk function. The CEO needs to be well apprised of the security Risks I need to understand the cost benefit of the remediation. I recommend this book to anyone who is starting a corporation, embedding security in an existing organization, And those who are looking to revisit various requirements that are needed to meet industry needs and risks.

This should be required reading for startups and existing businesses! Great material!

I’ve struggled with what to recommend to others getting into this field on up-leveling them without requiring they go out of their way to get certifications or a degree in the field. This has now become that book which I will be recommending to everyone!!

This is that perfect balance of just the right amount of depth so if people want to learn more they can go dig in on their own or stay broad and cover a vast range of topics. It should be required reading for every startup really!!
