Glad that tree hugger “I know what’s good for everyone” has said good bye. Sorry books are in 3rd person narration. Liked having Gunther’s perspective.

But still a good listen. Wishing Joe good luck!

Best one in a long while

Really good story line with not too many characters as many have before. Kept my attention the entire book!

Yes!

This book is so good! I found it after listening to it by another ( not nearly as good) narrator. Stick with Tom, he makes this series SO much better! Which is saying a lot. Archer ( love the name) definitely has talent!

Super sleuthed powerful poignant mystery!!!

Mayer and and Taylorson are absolutely brilliant. better than bacon and eggs, pastrami on rye, meatballs and spaghetti... get it... a veritable feast awaits. The writing is beyond first class the narration beyond brilliant. I could not stop listening in amazement to a wonderful storyline dialogue plot twists characters and such pathos. it's quite powerful. Enjoy it for yourself 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟PS all along I tried to like Gail Zigman thinking perhaps she was a kind of Lauren Bacall type figure and voice but she comes off quite rough in this one for sure. I wonder what happens going forward to the series couple.

Another Great audiobook from Archer Mayor. I am extremely addicted to the Joe Gunther series. Gail is just to much always making it about her and not the big picture. Joe is a Great guy who seems like he would do anything to protect those around him, just sometimes it isn’t enough for certain people. Can’t wait to listen to the next Joe Gunther mystery.

Joe Gunther Bk 16

I was new to Joe Gunther mysteries //Archer Mayer and began listening with book 1. I was captivated by the character building of all the individuals in the series. I almost feel like I know each of their doppelgangers in my own life. As I was saying I began with book 1 and became so entrenched in the Joe Gunther mysteries I binged listened to all 32 books with fascination, escape, and enjoyment. I love the less than perfect characters, the thought processes each character manipulates and how each struggle with mental demons (some more than others) that make them real and come to life. I am also really impressed that not one of Mr Mayer’s stories (of all 32 books) repeat themselves in story line which is a impressive feat. My only disappointment is the next book isn’t out until Sept 2022.

Great story line

Enjoying the continuation of the repeating character’s development and look forward to what comes next for Gunther’s personal life…

Solid story as usual

Archer’s series continues to be one of my go tos. Good mystery, complex characters, and great narration.

Great series but....

Can we get rid of Gail Ziggman please? The stories and the other characters are excellent then there is Gail. We get it she was rapped we dont need to hear her throw it in joes face every time they speak. All gail seems to do is whin about her privileged life and grip at joe because she was rapped. No matter what joe say or what kind of problem he is having when he tries to talk to gail either she cant make time or she throws her rap into it. Its really getting stupid. I hope joe kicks her to the curb soon it would really make the story alot better.
