Adventure before romance

This is the kind of romance that I like where the story is actually a murder mystery and good guys against the bad guys. But in the meantime, while the two main characters battle evil together, are slowly developing a romance with the assumption of more in future stories. Ms. Garcia performed the narration very well with voice changes and dramatic expertise.

Great characters

I really enjoyed book 2. There was strength, sadness, and love. I like how we are slowly finding out the true powers of Neely

This is one of my favorite new series. The characters are interesting and the narrator was excellent.

I read this a while ago and loved the story! It is even better on Audible. The narrator does a fantastic job!!

Really decent book

I feel like this book was long for no reason. It has a good story line tho and the narration was great. I will not be purchasing the next book tho I honestly do t think it’s worth a credit.
The MC got on my last nerve with keeping secrets causing people to be killed.
The only reason I fished is because the narration was really good.

Great New Fantasy Romance

Although the general plot line of this series is similar to many in the genre, I enjoyed Spiked due to the characters and the new nuance of the "spiker" concept. I am on book 3 right now, and mostly just wanted to warn Audible listeners that only book one is available through Audible :-( I dislike it when this happens with a series, as I prefer to listen to my books when I work.

It's ok.

For some reason this was a really hard read. I determinedly sloughed through it but it was tough. Hopefully if there's a second book it will be an easier read. The narrator did a good job, the book just felt like a chore to get through.

Not another one

The book was fine, I guess. I am very tired of male leads having to be alpha-holes to women, who seem to put up with it and then they get to know “the real man” and fall for him.

All I can think is what a stupid stupid girl. How did she survive this long. Waste of a damn credit.
