Neu-Hexe Emma sollte sich wirklich langsam an all die magischen Merkwürdigkeiten in Spellbound gewöhnt haben. Schließlich lebt sie mit einem Vampir-Geist-Mitbewohner zusammen, hat eine sprechende - und sehr schnippische - Eule als Vertraute, und klärt so manches verhexte Verbrechen auf. Als sie aber zu einem wichtigen Termin ins Rathaus kommt und sich die sonst so ehrwürdigen Mitglieder der Spellbound-Gemeinschaft wie kleine Kinder verhalten, ist selbst Emma mit ihren Zaubersprüchen am Ende. Sie hat alle Hände voll zu tun, die verhexten Bewohner daran zu hindern, die Stadt zu verwüsten. Während sie dem Zauber auf den Grund geht und ihn umzukehren versucht, geschieht das nächste Desaster: Emma wird unsichtbar! Schnell wird ihr klar, dass jemand ihre Ermittlungen behindern will - und dass der Zauber keineswegs ein Unfall war...
Die Serie: Willkommen in Spellbound - einer Kleinstadt wie jeder anderen. Es gibt Tratsch, heimliche Affären und Verbrechen. Der einzige Unterschied? Hier leben keine Menschen... Emma Hart landet durch eine Reihe misslicher Umstände in dieser zauberhaften Stadt voller übernatürlicher Wesen. Doch es gibt ein Problem: Wegen eines Fluches können die magischen Bewohner die Stadt nicht mehr verlassen. Nicht der beste Zeitpunkt für Emma, um zu erfahren, dass sie eine Hexe ist! Die Anwältin macht das Beste aus der Situation und übernimmt den Job des Pflichtverteidigers, der kürzlich ermordet wurde. Denn auch in Spellbound gibt es Ganoven und Mörder. Doch Achtung: Nicht jeder Vampir oder Werwolf ist so böse, wie er aussieht - und nicht jede Elfe ist harmlos!
