The audiobook is fairly simple for beginners. Spanish will honestly help me out the most in a few of my careers and the customer service job.

Really great bargain!

I don't speak Spanish, so I can't attest to the accuracy of the words/phrases/etc. but the topics covered in this audiobook are what I was looking for, and the pronunciation guides are easy to use. I plan to supplement this audiobook with some audio resources online, and between the two I expect I will be able to use at least a little of the native language on my vacation. Even simple phrases can really help open new doors.

When I had my Spanish subject, I had a hard time learning the language considering that it was just also a second language of my teacher. I was so eager to learn the language.This audiobook, looks like the interest has came to life again. It has direct translation and even on how to pronounce the word correctly. This is a really helpful book. I wish I had this once I was stationed at Fort Huachuca Arizona. New Goles Mexico was just south of there. I had my advanced individual training (AIT) there, so i used to be only there 8 months. i do know German, and Russian because i used to be in Deuchland for much longer . Still, knowing certain phrases in Espanol would help in order that they couldn't comb out the 'Gringos' to take advantage of . You did not have to talk fluently, but it definitely would aid in my situation, and that i figure many vacationers could use this also , recommended.

Tells you exactly what you need to know!

Got this to help brush up on my Spanish for a trip to Spain, even though I (barely) speak Latin American Spanish, not Spain Spanish...whatever that is. I learned by speaking with native speakers from Mexico, Honduras, Costa Rica, etc. I was terrible at conjugations in school and learning from audiobook. Luckily this audiobook keeps it simple. The phonetic pronunciations seem to be Latin American Spanish.
