Moving Complex Tale

This is a story told in the present and through flashbacks as Jordan lies in a coma able to hear what Cory is saying and also remembering things for herself. Overall I enjoyed this book, it grabbed my attention from the first page and showed great potential. First and foremost it's a love story, Cory and Jordan's romance and subsequent separation were very moving but did the young Jordan do the right thing giving her baby up for adoption, was she right to keep her pregnancy a secret from Cory?

Jay was overcome by guilt when the ambulance he was driving knocked Jordan down, he stopped working and spent all his time at the hospital trying to learn what he could about Jordan. He visited with her and even met Cory. His and Madison's marriage was put under pressure because of this he even missed his baby's ultrasound but their love remained strong. Then we have Dr Rodriguez' story which was also very moving. The author managed to weave these three storylines into a complex conclusion, where all the questions are answered and the lives of all involved come together in a very moving climax which brought a lump to my throat.

The author narrated this book herself and overall did a good job.

I was given this audiobook as a gift and am voluntarily writing my review.
