Hands down my fav couple

This series is so addictive. The audios are out of this world. I think Saxon and Haisley are my favorite couple. Their story tied up some loose ends from previous books, which I appreciated. But again, just as with the last book, I feel like this was just a start to their story and there is so much more to tell. UGH but I guess that’s how it goes when you fall for a couple, their story is always too short.

A Great To Listen

This is the seventh book in the Smoke Series from Abbi Glines. I listened to the audio version of this book. This is the story of Saxon and Haisley. Saxon belongs to a family full of Mafia men but hasn't really be involved in that life. He is young at twenty three and is just now beginning to be introduced to the family business. When he and Haisley meet they have a little fling before she ghosts him. However, she is dealing with the repercussion of that little fling but doesn't tell Saxon However secrets don't stay hidden for very long and when Saxon finds out and realizes the situation that Haisley is living in, insists that she comes and stay with him until the baby is born. I don't want to ruin the story for anyone so I will stop talking about it right now. This book was so good. I fell hard for Haisley and Saxon. He is also my favorite kind of male character in a book. He all alpha with a dirty mouth. I am a sucker for a dirty mouth in books. This is a book that you are going to love listening too. You do not want to miss it.

Yes queen

Yes so GOOD. Saxton and Haisley story was so good. After running into each other at a hotel both their words get a turned upside down. It was great to see Saxton finally get his story. The way he wanted to hate her and deep down he knew he wanted her. I hate that it took so long for him to know the truth. The tension between these two was so good. I loved how he protected her from those snobs. I loved getting to see my other people from her series. The narrators were amazing that southern deep accent on Saxton was soo delicious. The tone the narrator used when she expressed Haisley being pissed was so spicy I loved it. Great job 👏🏼

Seriously swoon worthy male narration and fantastic female narration.

This is the first I’ve heard of the male narrator and he is now in my top 4 with Zachary Webber, Will M. Watt & Teddy Hamilton. This book had all the feels and definitely made me cry. The only complaint I have is, I didn’t feel like the lead female characters timidness was fitting with the fight she had in her.

Oh sweet Saxon... you deserve the fairytale!

Can you be a golden retriever AND be in the Mafia? Abbi Glines answers this question with an easy, "Meet Saxon." Of course, he can be the sweetest, most perfect book boyfriend and still have heartbreak and angst, because this is the southern mafia, after all! And in the end - it will be his love that finishes his induction into the working branch of the family...
I have to ask though - what's with trying to run off the guys' girlfriends? Get this audiobook to find out!

Ryan Lee Dunlap and Vivienne LaRue bring this story to life in another super hot production from Sparks Fly Studio. It's narrated in duet, which brings the tale to life.

I really can't get enough of this series - and SparksFly is the perfect partner to bring it to audio. Thank you Abbi for another great installment!!

A Slightly Softer Story In The Series

He fell hard and fast for Haisley, who turned out to be sister of the enemy, and he was ready to defend her innocence. But she shut him out. Two months later, he found her in a cleaning uniform on the other side of his hotel door. And not only was she pregnant, it’s his baby. Smokin’ Hot is the 7th audiobook in the Smoke series by Abbi Glines. This is an accidental pregnancy, lovers to enemies to lovers, dark, mafia romance. The narrators, Ryan Lee Dunlap and Vivienne LaRue, gave a fantastic performance in this dual POV audiobook. I really enjoyed a slightly softer mafia romance, with the same obsessive, possessive hero as other heroes in this series. I love the way Saxon supports Haisley and goes to bat for her. It really made the romance for me. I recommend this audiobook for listeners who enjoy dark mafia and accidental pregnancy romances.

Great Narration

Another great book in the Smoke Series! Smokin' Hot is book 7 in the series, and it's Saxon and Haisley's story.

The story was well written and the characters were great as usual. I listed to the audiobook, and it made the story even better! Kyle Lee Dunlap and Vivienne La Rue did an amazing job with the narration! Kyle Lee Dunlap has become one of my favorite male narrators after this book!

Hot Indeed

This might be my first Ryan Lee Dunlap title and that voice is perfect for a dark cowboy!

Smokin' Hot is part of the Smoke Series by Abbi Glines, which can be read alone (it is book 7). However, I enjoyed it so much that I'm going back to book one as soon as possible! Saxon is broody, but when it comes down to caring, he is where it's at. He is a great fit for a Cinderella story. The spice in this one be smuttin'!

This one was a great one

It was different because Saxon doesn’t go all crazy alpha like a lot of the others. I kept expecting her to put Levi and Kai but she didn’t which was a twist. I also expected the test, but it kind of fell apart on Blaise and the guys when AJ moved up the plan. Overall a great book that still pulls you in.

I liked the females voice on the audio and liked the males voice however it had some parts where his voice didn’t sound great, like when Saxon got highly emotional.

Saxon the good guy

Saxon is the “good” guy. He is pretty easygoing compared to the other guys. He is not psycho, ruthless or a killer until you mess with Haisley. They met and he was totally gone for her. A threat and some miscommunication caused a short separation. Now Haisley is pregnant . Saxon steps up like the man he is.
There is drama and pushback on both sides. Haisley seems like she was a pushover but she has a backbone. 20, pregnant and on her own, she made it work. She didn’t stand around for handouts. I loved how she grew stronger throughout the book.
The narrators were great. Made the story much more enjoyable.
