Smoke initial appearance

The Johnston’s saga of the Jensens are all great. This establishes Smokes first elements of what made him and the individuals who helped!!

Incredible Origin

This story had a ton of excitement and only enhanced my love of the Johnstone heroes. After Those Jensen Boys, this has to be one of favorite books and I can’t wait to hear more of Smoke’s tale. I’m really eager to see how he meets Sally.

Smoke

Another great book about Smoke. This book has a lot of information on the early year's of Smokes life. This is a very interesting book to listen to. I highly recommend this book. There is a lot of information about Smoke's father in this book and how he met up with Preacher. Jack Garrett does a great job narraiting this book. Very Easily One of William w johnstone’s better story lines enjoyed it a must read

I enjoyed this book mainly because I have read several Smoke Jensen books and enjoyed reading about his start and how he met Preacher.

Excellent book but...

I enjoyed this book but I live 45 miles south of Chugwater, Wyoming. The land for the townsite was deeded over from The Swan Land and Cattle ranch in 1886, Chugwater was not incorporated until 1919. The glaring error in the book is it was a dry town. Chugwater did not get it’s first bar until the early 1970’s.
