the way she says "been" it sounds like "bean". very odd and caught me off guard every time

Everything you want in a thriller!

Perfect thriller to keep you engaged through all your chores and work outs! Binged it in two days.

The protagonist was unlikable until the last few pages. She was incredibly self absorbed.

The plot was kept me interested, but wanted to see more character development. It was hard to feel invested when you dislike the main character and barely know the others.

Excellent narration

I had zero expectations regarding the book, but I was pleasantly surprised. The story is interesting, there's enough mystery to build theories along the way, and the main character shows significant growth from seeming downright unlikable at the start. The narrator's voice is thoroughly enjoyable, and elevates the book.

Superb tale that traces wrongs to a Murdered Friend of a Teacher. Excellent Narration, and well-worth your listen, reading!

A bit rushed

Rhonda’s character along with the others I feel was well written. Rhonda had me annoyed for the majority of the book with her selfishness and lack of maturity.. I felt like the book was a bit rushed. The suspense was not bad wish there was more of a back story on the bad people.. but overall I thoroughly enjoyed the last chapter and prologue.

But it was poorly written. I agree with the other review about the formula. Lots of incredibly cliche phrases and random rhymes throughout, “the story and glory”, disconnected moments - she was soaking wet to a point where her T shirt was uncomfortable but then when he cried on her shoulder a few minutes later he moved away and her shoulder was damp… like duh. Then there’s the narrator. Every other voice besides the main character she makes sounds stupid. It’s hard to take them serious. Tried too hard with this one. Sorry.

Average. Not bad, not great, just right down the middle.

I feel like the plot had a lot of potential, but the mark was completely missed. Fairly predictable, the past stories never did come to full fruition in the future.

I did make it all the way through, but jusy barely.

Twists and turns, dynamic protagonist you both like and want to thump on the head occasionally. satisfying ending.
