About this listen

When Frank Morgan gets to a town called Los Angeles, he can see the forces gathering around him. For the Spanish landowners, wealth is measured in cattle on the open range. For hard nosed oilmen, a fortune is in the ground - in the form of shining black crude oil....

When blood is spilled on the sun-seared land, Morgan allies himself with a beautiful, widowed rancher - even as he cuts a deal with an ambitious wildcatter. Morgan is not trying out treachery. He's just trying to get to the truth about a cycle of violence that's about to explode. But when he discovers that a third party has entered the fray, Morgan knows the rules have changed and justice will only be forged with bullets.

Performed by Ken Jackson, James Konicek, Bobby Aselford, Michael Replogle, Margie Tompros, Christopher Graybill, Karen Novack, Michael Glenn, David Coyne, Terence Aselford, Dylan Lynch, Steven Carpenter, Jeff Allin, Terence Aselford, Tony Nam, Johann Dettweiler, Andy Clemence, Jeff Baker, Mort Shelby, Richard Rohan, Jonathan Watkins, Christopher Scheeren.

A little town called Los Angeles

I liked this book. I got a kick out of description of Los Angeles back then. I don't know why Frank did charge the lawyer for his work. He's been paying them for years for their legal work. Again he let the pretty woman go.

Slaughter (Frank Morgan)

This is another great book about Frank Morgan. Frank is helping a female ranch owner with her problems she's having with oil drillers. This is an action packed story with a good storyline. I hate that every one gives Frank a hard time calling him a gunfighter in a bad way. It's seems like everyone he meets. That's the only thing I have against these books. But these are great books to listen to and I have enjoyed all of Franks books. This is a movie in your mind style of book with several narrators. (Dramatized). I LOVE This entire series

ai am living for Frank Morgan. I can only dream of being able to live a day in that lifetime, but listening to these books makes it so realistic and it's done so well.
