Publisher's summary

Some people are just meant to be single all the way…right?

Emerson

Being a widow and a single mom wasn’t part of my plan. But here I am.

I suppose I should consider myself lucky Ben offered us a place to stay. Without him, who knows where we would’ve ended up.

Now all I have to do is figure out how to ignore the way my entirely too sexy new roommate sometimes looks at me… and the way those looks make me feel…

Ben

I loved Emerson first. But that didn’t matter once she fell for my best friend.

So, I moved on. And I was happy. For a while, at least.

Now, I’m a busy single dad who just asked a woman who’ll never be mine to move in with me.

I’ve always been good at hiding my feelings for Emerson. But something tells me I’m about to get even better…

Single All the Way, book 2 in the Single Dads of Dragonfly Lake series, is a steamy and spicy, friends to lovers, second chance, contemporary romance with all the trimmings, including a hero who falls first, forced proximity, and all the small-town hijinks you can handle. Download today, and welcome to Dragonfly Lake.

Loved this sweet story!

This was such a sweet story! Single dad and single mom, Ben and Emerson, have been friends since their school days and now find themselves as widow(er)s. Ben was best friends with Emerson's late husband, and when Emerson and her two kids find themselves scrambling and without a home, Ben is more than happy to take them into his home with his two kids.

As the local town vet, he is a collector of strays, after all. Emerson, her kids, and family dog are not just moving in with Ben and his two kids, dogs, and cats, but also a slew of horses, chickens, a rooster and two llamas, one of whom moonlights as a professional escape artist.

Ben and Emerson are so good for each other. Ben has been closed off since his wife's passing, and Emerson, though less grumpy, was pretty much the same. But their friendship opened the door for more. It's the holiday season, and I just love how Ben is determined to make it one that Emerson and her kids will enjoy and remember forever. He's so sweet beneath that grumpy exterior. And a hot daddy vet? Yes, please!!

I am loving all of these single dads of Dragonfly Lake, and all of the secondary characters are so fun. I'm excited to read more of this series, and I definitely want to go back and read this author's back list and learn more about some of the friends popping up in this series.

🎧: Patrick Zeller and Stephanie Nemeth-Parker did a wonderful job narrating this story. This was my first time listening to Patrick Zeller, and I love the way he fully committed to the emotions that Ben experienced. It was so raw and really pulled me in. And Stephanie, as always, did a great job with the sweet, but reticent, Emerson.

Great story and narration.

From the first chapter to the last I was fully invested in single dad Ben and widow Emerson’s story.

This book ticked all the boxes for me and I found the characters easy to relate too. There were moments that had me tearing up and moments I was smiling and laughing. If you want a book with all the feels, then this is for you.

This was at times an emotional roller coaster of a read and although their journey was not smooth it was worth it.

Narrated by Patrick Zeller and Stephanie-Nemeth Parker they did a wonderful job in bringing the characters and story to life.

The narrators voices suited the characters and were easy to listen too. Cannot wait for the next book in the series.

• Thoughts:
This was my very first Amy Knupp book, and it did not disappoint. I enjoyed it. It was so sweet! I loved all the characters Ben and his girls Emmerson and her two kiddos. Gramma Birdie. The attraction Ben has for not only Emmerson but for her children as well. How he seamlessly includes them and makes all three apart of his family. Emerson was widowed and she is just getting by. I enjoyed watching her view on life and relationships morphe in her time while staying with Ben and his family and their Barn full of rescues. Haha. It truly was a great read. I am looking forward to more of her books.

Narrator Thoughts:
Patrick Zeller and Stephanie Nemeth-Parker are new to me narrators! I loved them!!!! I am definitely looking forward to hearing more from both of them. They captured the characters well!

loved!

I loved the Dragonfly Lakes series Amy Knupp wrote and totally in love with the Single Dads of Dragonfly Lake series now also! I really enjoyed these characters and their second chance at love later in life. Emerson was a great strong single mother that made sure her kids new they were her top priority. Ben was amazing in taking her family in when they needed a place to live while finding a new home.

It was so sweet how the kids all helped with the farm animals and hearing how they interacted with each other. The funniest is Emerson and the llama. haha. There were laughs and some tears throughout this wonderful story. I had the pleasure of hearing the audio! Ben was definitely someone to make you swoon about! Narrated by Stephanie Nemeth-Parker & Patrick Zeller! ❤️⭐🎤🔥

I cannot wait for the next in this series!

Loved the characters, the story and the narration

I knew this book was special from the first chapter but it was only after I finished Single All The Way did I realise just how special single dad Ben and widow Emerson’s journey really was. I was captivated and there was no putting down until the final word was read and even then I wanted more and that’s a sure sign of a great book.
Patrick Zeller and Stephanie-Nemeth Parker did a great job bringing the characters and their story to life. They were spot on with the humour and more importantly they radiated the emotional through their voices.
Single All The Way has all the feels, it’s an emotional roller coaster with characters you will fast become invested in. The banter is witty, the heartache felt real and that’s why I went from laughing to crying as I lost myself with Ben and Emerson. I’m so excited for the next book in the Single Dads of Dragonfly Lake.

The perfect cozy, Christmas listen!

Gosh! Sometimes you just want a cozy, Christmas listen that gives spicy Hallmark vibes with a happily ever after & this is it ya'll! Amy Knupp writes a cute & heartwarming story about love, moving on & the messiness of modern love & mixed families. We get hilarious animal antics & a lot of family togetherness that just makes this audio absolutely perfect for the upcoming holiday season!

If there's a single dad, I'm here for the story. There's just something about a hard-working man who put his kids first & loves them to death. I fall for them every time! Ben is no exception. As the town vet, he's a rescuer of all animals & people. This includes his friends wife, Emerson, whose now a widow & has two kiddos. He's know Emerson since grade school. They were friends & biology partners in HS. He may have had feelings for her back then, but once his friend moved in & they eventually got married, Ben moved on with his life too!

Now circumstances leave Emerson & Ben living together, each with their own kids, Ben realizes pretty quickly he's got the holiday love bug & wants her! Emerson also realizes that the heart she closed off really does want to love again. These two get to know one another again, become friends & yes, have a little spicy Christmas romp!😉

The next 6 weeks are filled with family traditions, late night talks, helping & supporting each other & it's no wonder that Ben & Emerson begin to have feelings stir in that holiday air. Her late husband was often gone overseas, so life has been lonely & stressful. Ben comes in & lightens her load, takes her kids & treats them just like his own. You begin to see these two families mesh together as a unit.

🎧Let's talk narration...Stephanie & Patrick do a wonderful job telling this cozy Christmas love story. Emerson is insecure & overwhelmed as a displaced working mom & Stephanie does such a great job at portraying this but she also gives Emerson the loving & caring side that she embodies as well. I really enjoyed listening to her. Zeller is terrific as the caring & patient veterinarian who eventually can't hide his feelings for her anymore. A father, a friend & a man in love. Zeller nails it! Both of these narrators give warm & captivating performances.

With the small-town charm of Dragon Lake, Knupp gives us a story about second chances, finding love again & family fun. The llamas make a memorable appearance too! 🦙🦙 Definitely check out this one to give you a cozy, holiday vibe. It's just such a cute & fun story to listen to!🙌

Cozy Christmas read!

Are you looking for a holiday novel that is going to make you feel all of the feels of Christmas spirit? If so, then this is the book for you!

🎄Single dad
🎄Single mom
🎄Age gap
🎄Secret fling
🎄Holiday romance

After circumstances change, Emerson and her two kids move into Ben’s house around the holidays for a few weeks until she can find somewhere for them to live.

While Ben and Emerson have known each other for over a decade, both were in other relationships and have never thought to brooch into anything romantic.

Until their feelings become too strong to ignore. But the same thoughts remain - Emerson isn’t ready to get into another relationship and experience another great loss.

Ben and Emerson and their kids made up such an adorable family. I love how they just gelled together so easily and became an insta-family.

Patrick Zeller and Stephanie Nemeth-Parker do a great job bringing the characters to life. I felt both of their vulnerabilities and feelings shining through with their narration.

Small town, single parent perfection!

Single All the Way is book 2 in the Single Dads of Dragonfly Lake series. This story has so much heart and so many wonderfully tender and steamy moments I was all in! Ben is the local vet and single dad with a heart of gold who had a crush on Emerson before she met and then later married his best friend, Blake. Both of them are raising children on their own following the death of their spouses, so when Emerson and her two children are in need of a temporary place to stay Ben has the perfect solution. Ben has a full house with his two children, some barn cats, horses, and the infamous cookie-loving llamas. The families really do fit together perfectly, like it was meant to be. I just love his support group and the people in this small town that stick together. Patrick Zeller and Stephanie Nemeth-Parker are fantastic! They bring all of the heart to each and every character with stellar performances. I finished and listened again to make sure I I didn’t miss something. This feel-good friends to lovers, forced proximity, small town, single mom/dad romance is just what the veterinarian ordered!

Happy Chaos!

This is a feel good holiday story. All of the chaos in Ben’s life really kept me going. That man has so much going on it was crazy plus running a successful vet business. Emerson has some soul searching to do to figure out her life. I liked her portion of the story especially since it included the extra sadness of one child who misses her Grandma. Moving into a house full of people and animals sometimes is all that Emerson and her kids need.

I listened to this on audio. Stephanie Nemeth-Parker and Patrick Zeller do a wonderful job on the narration putting the feelings Into words.
