Learning before getting

This book was amazing for me and a good simplification. I got it so I would be prepared for my first husky and I have to say I’m glad I got the book before getting one. I now understand when to get one. How to find a good breeder. How hard it is to train one. What gender would be best for me and my family. Also what food, cleaning, health and life style is best and what adaptations I would have to adjust to compared to getting a bulldog or something. Plus I have a better understanding of the breed and it’s history.

By this if its your first husky

I got my first Siberian Husky and I didn't know how the book was going to help me but I didn't regret one bit of buying this book. It tells you a lot of interesting stuff. They are very different from raising another kind of dog so I really do recommend people to buy this book for newbies or people who just want to learn about huskies, want a husky in the future or even having trouble with your husky.

This was a great book on basic ( don’t think basic makes it too simple for you!! This book walked me through the correct way to train your dog AND more importantly WHY , you’re doing it the way you are! INVALUABLE!) sit , stay , come , leash training, crate training and SO MUCH MORE! I’ll be listening again to be sure I completely understood it. Fabulously and so well written!! My 13 week old husky can already , sit , come , “off” “leave it “ and is potty trained . We have had her for two weeks!! This book was invaluable.

Great Information about owning a Husky!

I have a Husky and I needed a few more good tips on a few behavior problems he was having still. I rescued him from a shelter and overall he was pretty well trained but still had some bad habits. This book was awesome and had great tips in it for everything from Choosing a Husky to fixing bad habits. Very good book.

Helped me so much

This book helped me so much with my 1 1/2 year old siberian husky retriever mix. even though he is only half husky, through this book i have realized that the husky in him seems to be more dominant. this book really helped me to understand that all the little "odd" things that he does, really aren't odd at all, they are only natural to his breeds. i would recommend this book to anyone with a full or partial breed husky!!
