Narrator is ruining this book

I love this series and author. Due to a brain tumor I’m no longer able to read books in print. I fell in love with this author and mainly this series. I wish she would go back one of the original narrator’s. The past 2 are horrible. I am having to physically make myself stay engaged. I’d give this zero stars but the story is awesome so far. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get a new narrator. I want to return this book but I’m forcing myself to listen because I want to know what happens. Ugggggggggg

Loved the story

I love all of r l matthewson books never disappoints . This series had me reading the book then listening to it as soon as audio was available

Short, Legthal and Claimed

I waited a long time for this book and it was worth the wait. Jill and Logan story was a true love story. It was nice to the family reunite and Jill and Logan getting their happiness.

Great book

The book was fantastic and fit in perfectly with the series. The story teller was not as good as the original

Definitely Worth The Wait!!!

I know how many painstaking months it took to create this masterpiece and it was definitely worth the wait! To see Logan's cold heart being chipped away by the unconditional love of a woman and three adorable shifter children was positively heart warming. I can't wait for the next episode of the enigmatic Joshua to bring this story full circle!

Dang It!!!!

Loved that we had our HEA with the suspense of Joshua at the end. I can't wait to read that story. 10/10

An Absolute Must-Read for Fans!

I have loved this series for years, and Short, Lethal & Claimed did not disappoint! Jill and Logan’s story was a long time coming, and it was everything I hoped for and filled with those unforgettable moments that make the RL Mathewson story telling so special.

And the kids Caleb, Ema, and Shane, oh my heart! They completely stole my heart. I loved every second of it.

I know some people weren’t fans of the narration, but personally, I thought it was great. I usually listen at 1.25x to 1.35x speed, so if you’re hesitant, maybe try adjusting the playback speed it might make all the difference!

And RL you couldn’t resist yourself now I want Thomas story.

If you’re a fan of the series, this is a must. If you haven’t started yet, I highly recommend diving in. You won’t regret it!

why can't narrators do research before taking a job?

I LOVED this book but, the narrator almost killed it for me. I powered threw because I had been waiting on this book for YEARS!!! Narrators who jump in on a book later in a series need to recognize that to the fans this is already an established world. The personalities and mannerisms have already developed as well as accents which may not be pointed out because to the fans it's well known. Second book that was almost ruined by a narrator who had no ideal who the characters were or why we love them. To them it's a paycheck to us it's our friends who have now been wronged twice.

I need more!

I’ve been waiting a long time for this to come out and it did not disappoint!

Poor Narration

I absolutely love the Pyte/Sentinel series but, on these last 2 books, Audible has dropped the ball on narration. This narrator, while her narration was ok, her male voices were all the same and somewhat cringe. All of the female voices sounded the same and she did not do any of the accents that a few of the characters are supposed to have. Once she pronounced the names correctly, I was able to push past the rest. She was a small upgrade from the last narrator, but I really wish someone at Audible would listen to the reviews and get a narrator that will do their research on the series and do the characters that we have come to love justice.
