Not my favorite

I could not like any of the characters. It was also very tedious and repetitive.

Stick with it

Painfully slow start. But then the twist. So worth the wait. Stick with it and enjoy

Annoying characters

I did not enjoy this book. The set-up is too long and the main character lacks common sense. The second part of the book is too short. There are characters who we never get closure with. I tend to love the books Audible recommends to me but this was a miss.

What a great book!

Wow, this book keeps you on edge the entire time. The narrator was excellent and the story, holy cow! I always wonder how authors who write mystery or thriller novels come up with the storyline, the twists and turns, the interactions between characters, etc. This book had everything. An amazing plot, great characters, and twists and turns that blew my mind. You won’t be disappointed.

Twisting ending

The book is very slow to start with a lot of detail but the toward the second half is packed with shocking revelations and unexpected surprises. Overall a really good read

Awkward suspense, frustrating characters

There were a lot of moments that were frustrating especially with the main character and scenes, like tell us a 4th time about the faulty lock on the door or a character justification of leaving a vulnerable person so “they can have space to think”

The story over does the tone of victims, crime, shadows, lurking, danger around every corner. Some mean something while others are pointless to the story.

The twist was a little confusing. Many leads left open, is there a 2nd book? Even so I wouldn’t care enough to read it. Overall disappointed in the writing, low character development and pointless suspense push.

The different personalities people can have.

I didn't like how some things were just unbelievable. Certain things you would've reported to the police.

Great twist!

Somewhat slow to start but once it got going it was great.
Surprising twist, performance was good and not overly exaggerated or emotional. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
