Beautiful and Sweet

Lovely story of Love and Loss. I enjoyed listening to the story.. cried a little

One of the best I’ve read

First book I read from Paige Toon and enjoyed it very much. A reminder that even though we have lost loved ones we can still move on, live happily and carry them in our memories.

Emotional

I loved the story! However the way the chapters were scattered with the years sometimes it was confusing. I loved the the story love between Finn

Oh, my heart!

I don’t think there’s any author whose stories tug at my heartstrings like Paige’s. The plot is somewhat similar to This Summer Will Be Different, but with all due respect to the great Carley Fortune, Paige’s book was more interesting and much more emotional.

The Music

This book was a pleasant surprise. I loved how Liv moved on with Tom but still allowed herself to love Finn.

Such a beautiful story. This one really tugged at my heart strings. Very well written. I will definitely check out this author’s other books.

I really enjoyed this book. Lots of angst and love mixed with some grief, but overall it was just beautiful. The narrator was also wonderful. I would definitely recommend this story!

The romance hit I wanted

Unaware of anything Paige Toon, I bought this book on the recommendation of a friend. Within the first two chapters, I was sucked in like a sock in a vacuum. This love story is told in two timelines (one of my favorite styles) where the story is slowly revealed through time passing, and clues from present day. Finn and Liv meet as young adults, carefree, with the beach as their backdrop (cue a little Point Break). Finn lives in LA and Liv lives in Cornwall. It’s the book you want to read about young love over years, miles, and heartache.

Very low energy. Took me forever to actually get through the whole thing. Not great for someone going through any sort of grief.
