About this listen

True heroes are forged in the fires of adversity.

In a world of monsters, dungeons, and dragons, Chod has finally found a place to call home. More than that, he’s found a tribe worth fighting for.

A colossal battle is brewing, and the fate of Mythos hangs in the balance. With the forces of darkness primed to make their move, Chod finds himself in a race against time. The Mythos Rehabilitation Program will soon be terminated, and the era of heroes is coming to an end.

As the clock ticks down, Chod must make a stand if he wants to prevent a future cast in perpetual shadow.

When the curtain falls, a troll will rise.

Great

This might be the last book? Nice ending to the series. Great narration. Plenty of twist and turns.

Decent end to the series

While completely predictable it was a nice end to the series. Not wanting to put any spoilers in my review, you can expect exactly what you think as the finale.

Banger of an ending!

Absolutely love this series and man did Rowland end it so satisfyingly! I’m very sad to leave this world but his other works are so dang good it makes it easier. I highly recommend this series and for that matter every book the guy has written. As to the narrator…well top notch as usual man they make a great team!

Solid end to an amazing series

Sentenced to Troll is all about character growth and it hits its building crescendo in the final chapter of the series. Overall and Performance get top marks as usual but I felt like there could've been more on the part of the antagonists. Regardless though, fantastic read. I'm now a big fan of the author and his style of writing.

A satisfying ending to the journey

I thought the story was a fun one that was well narrated. All the characters come to life and the series had consistently good quality.
Sorry to see it come to an end

The MC's character and moral growth.

At first I was not into this series. But after listening to all of them I like them. Great story looking forward to the next one.

Quality is went downhill

The series as a whole is okay, but everything I don't like about the series gets worse here. Lemy is more annoying than ever, almost as bad as jar jar binks. Why authors think it's a good idea to include major characters that are always supposed to be cute and provide comic relief I will never know. The introduction labels Lemy as "everyone's favorite character" and I'm not sure if fans actually gave that feedback or if the author just wants it to be true. Combat is worse than ever, with the big battle against the ultimate evil being as anticlimactic as possible. Until now I've enjoyed the story in spite of all this. The entire pacing of the book is off, rushed, as if three books were compressed into this one. Do not recommend and I won't be buying more.
