Timely gentle reminders
This is a beautiful book, a guiding light filled that came into my life at exactly the right moment. The peaceful voice of the narrator had me hooked from the beginning and I discovered an abundance of timely reminders. Self-compassion can be so powerful yet so difficult to work towards at times. Unlike similar audibles that promise affirmations that can change your life, these are carefully crafted, well explained and well narrated affirmations aimed at black women. I've listened to this on repeat and feel more confident and self compassionate as a result. Recommend to anyone wanting to boost their own self esteem.
