About this listen

The best kisses are the ones kept a secret.

Billionaire business guru Charles is a love 'em and leave 'em kind of guy. That's certainly no secret. Unlike the affair he's about to engage in with August who is half his age. A younger man he really has no business calling Sir.

Auggie is only supposed to be pet-sitting for his father and step-dad while they are on their honeymoon. Not kissing Charles and making him laugh. Not buying his favorite food and taking him out on dates.

One night is what they agreed on. A secret shared between only their lips as Charles discovers he's not so straight after all. But maybe one night can become two . . . and even more . . . After all, anything's possible as long as they don't get caught.

This is the first book in the Secrets & Scandal duology featuring two men whose affairs must be kept secret to avoid a scandal.

Contains mature themes.

WORTH THE WAIT!

Charles and August…

I love, love, love the romance between Charles and August! There’s something powerful about the love of a young Dom and older submissive. Thank you Gianni Holmes!

Very enjoyable

I listened to the Taking Care series a while ago and when I heard Secrets & Scandal were going to become audiobooks, I was very excited! I waited to listen to the book rather than read the ebook, so this was my first time with this story. I loved seeing a different side to Charles. There is more depth to him than it seemed when we first met him in the other series. I knew he and Auggie were together, but am enjoying the journey to that actually happening. There is a lot of push and pull, because both characters know the scandal it would be if anyone discovered they were together. Auggie's dad is married to Charles' son, and Charles himself is married (though in name only). I'm glad that John Solo narrated this one, since he also did the Taking Care series. The continuity is great, and it feels like returning to visit old friends. I can't wait for the conclusion to Auggie and Charles' story!

I enjoyed it overall

I liked the series. A few things were annoying but, that’s just me. 1 thing though that I felt made no sense was the parent that returned being referred to as dad. I understand currently being referred to as dad but when speaking on the past and how they were left by the parent. In no way should that parent be referred to as dad, that was not their dad that left. I don’t know if this is just something that baffles and annoys me but when speaking on the past what is said is my other dad left (not true, your mother left) idk maybe I’m knit picking, but this really seems like a very important point. I don’t want to give away details. However overall I did enjoy both series available regarding the Moore, Long family and do think that it’s worth purchasing.

Auggie and Charles

Is it possible to redeem Declan's dad? Playboy dad hooks up with his son's stepson, doesn't read very well. Charles was so self-involved in the last series. I'm so glad I decided to read this. Once you think about the age dynamic - it's not really different from the first series. Thinking about these two men coming into each other's lives and maybe being just what the other needed to be a better version of themselves. In Charles' case we are hoping for that second chance.

Love it!!

Charles and Auggie are amazing. Loved Declan and Owen’s story so I was super excited when I saw this. As usual, I read anything John Solo narrates so this was a no brainer.
