About this listen

Secrets broke her heart...and have now come back from the grave to haunt her.

A new series from NYT and USAT best-selling author, Michelle M. Pillow!

Lorna Addams’ life is not turning out like she expected. After a very public embarrassment, she finds it difficult to trust her judgment when it comes to new friendships and dating. She might be willing to give love a second chance when she meets the attractive William Warrick, if only she could come to terms with what her husband did to her and leave it in the past.

How is a humiliated empty nest widow supposed to move on with her life? It’s not like she can develop a sixth sense, séance her ex back, force him to tell her why and give her closure. Or can she?

An interesting read with three women facing pain, loneliness, and loss on their own. Together they may have a chance to face their demons on their own terms. However, they are playing with power they do not understand. What happened to grandmother?

Starting a surprise/twist right away i became invested in Lorna's story. This is a fantastic story of magic, family, and friendship. The story is filled with humor and heat. I really enjoyed this read where it shows that life can still change at 40.

Fun story. It moved along very quickly and held my attention. The main reader was excellent but I HATED THE VOICE OF WILLIAM. It was very creepy and didn't even seem to match the character they were trying to portray. Aside from that enjoyed the book.

Fun and kept your attention

Strangely beautiful! I didn't think I was going to like this, but I totally loved it. The characters are engaging, and the storyline is captivating , intriguing, and entertaining. Listening to this put a smile on my face. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a superb job with voices and expressions bringing it to life.

I win this audiobook from the author in a social media group. There were a few places where I thought I knew what was going to happen then something completely different happened. It was a pleasant story and I am really looking forward to the next one. My 15 yo even enjoyed listening to it.

Oh I absolutely loved listening to this story! The narrator, Rebecca does a fabulous job portraying Lorna’s voice. I listened to a faster speed of 1.8. That’s just my preferred speed. Lorna finds out during her husbands funeral something scandalous! Like SHUT the DOOR scandalous. We see her character evolve and she becomes friends with Vivien and Heather. I absolutely love the trio and their friendship!! I’m looking forward to listening to the next installment! I received a free copy of this audiobook, and I’m reviewing it voluntarily.

I did love this book, especially the uniqueness of the story.

Lorna, Heather and Vivian were all very likable.
Story was fun, some horror, friendship, magic and a romance.
The romance was not over graphic, which I totally appreciated.

Heather’s brother William was equally likable.

Looking forward to Vivian’s book, Order of Magic next.
Hope it comes soon
