Horrible oration

I can’t say if this book is good or not. The oration is so bad I can’t even listen. I’ll read this one the old fashion way!

Would give 0 stars if I could.

Did anyone listen to this before release? Narrator is constantly tripping over words and cannot pronounce the word methodology to save his life. Don't waste your time.

terrible

This audiobook is absolutely terrible. The narrator keeps messing up and reciting the same lines. In chapter 5, he even curses.

Almost unlistenable

Mistakes are not edited out! Some chapters are okay, but the book gets increasingly harder to comprehend as the narrator will pause and repeat words/sentences after making mistakes, and there are plenty. The only redeeming quality is a good laugh when he accidentally prompts his Siri and cusses at it

Audiobook prone with errors

I don't normally write reviews on many things, but after starting to listen to this book I was compelled to save anyone else from the horrible narration associated with this title. The narrator makes mistakes left and right, and none of them are edited out of the recording. In some instances there are long pauses; the kind that make you question whether your device has stopped playing. It makes listening to the topics covered in this book incredibly difficult. You'll spend more time fixated on the mistakes, than trying to actually learn about the topics themselves. I would suggest reading the book instead of listening to it.

As far as the book is concerned, it's a high level read. For beginner's it's a good start, although there are other books out there that some will find to be a better read.

No editing?

This audiobook is not edited, there are hundreds of repeats. Seems like this was the raw recording from the voiceover...

Very bad narration

The book is great but is hard to follow since the narrator is constantly mispronouncing, mis reading and repeating lines to change the tone. At some points you can hear dogs barking in the back, doors closing, phone notifications and even the narrator cursing because his Siri got activated. Reaaaaally bad.

The audible version was never edited !

Based on other reviews the content sounds like it is just what I was looking for.

However when I downloaded the audible version it sounds like i got the unedited version. In very many places the reader starts, pauses and then repeats himself. Sometimes there are even multiple repeats as he tries to get the emphasis correct.

This makes it very difficult to listen to. If it was a physical book I would simply return it, but what can one do when it is an audio book !

No audio editing whatsoever

At first, I thought the reading mistakes were part of the text and were therefore humor. Then the mistakes continued… and continued...and continued. There was absolutely no editing in the audio process. Words and phrases are stumbled over, repeated, stumbled over again, and repeated in almost every paragraph. There was even an instance where the reader pauses to adjust in his seat and you can hear the chair creaking. I made it approximately 20 minutes before the reading was so distracting and so disjointed that I didn't know what I was hearing anymore, and I gave up.
