A new school year and new friends for everyone's favorite classroom pet!
Humphrey is excited to get back to Room 26 and see all his old classmates. But on the first day of school, a bunch of strange kids arrive and no matter how loudly he squeaks up, they don't realize they're in the wrong room! Finally Humphrey realizes that these kids are his new classmates, and he sets off to learn all about them.
He hasn't forgotten about his friends from last year, and of course they miss him a ton. But when they start talking about taking him from Mrs. Brisbane's room, Humphrey gets unsqueakably nervous. How could he say good-bye to Mrs. Brisbane and Og - not to mention his new friends - for good?

Abby Carnelia is an average sixth grader. She gets along okay with her parents, does pretty well in school, and has an annoying little brother. Touches my hamster heart!!!!
I love this book!!!! It is a heart warming story about a hamster named Humphrey!!!!!! I have no complaints or concerns about this book but I still recommend this book for ages 4 and up. I'm nine and I really enjoy this book!!!!!!!!!! The narrator is really nice!!!!Go Humphrey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😁❤️

I’m writing this review like like three years after I got the book
This is long overdue I like got this when I was seven but I’m 10 now I guess I can do it through I’m good I’ve always loved Humphrey what can This isn’t as exciting as my sick dog ones but 😐 I’m tired

Good
I appreciated the reality that children grow up ,Humphry experiences the surprise and uncertainty of new and unfamiliar things ,but he learns that change can be good and these new children might just be new friends.
