To stop it all, Maddie must learn the art of humbling herself and accepting the help God has arranged, risking her heart to Reuben in the process. And she’d rather eat a million corned beef on rye sandwiches than do that.

I found this book refreshingly funny. The main character is REAL and comes to life. Her relationship with God is obtainable for people real people. What an AMAZING story. I am just upset that this writer only has ONE audio book. Which means I can’t listen to her others because I am working and can’t stop to actually read. Please do your other books. I share all of my good reads with the other women who do what I do. AP

This was such a great book. I couldn't stop listening. Several reviews commented on the main characters relationship with God. I found the take to be real, not offensive. She was a new believer and it was an honest portrayal of questions, doubts, fears and misconceptions.
Very clean, Christian book with a lot of heart. Highly recommend.

this was a fun spicy but not overly sexual story

I really enjoy this book. I was very happy to hear a lot of spiritual gems being dropped, and it was a nice sweet story that had just enough dramatics and spice to keep it interesting. I really like the second chance aspect too.

Rabid Reader

I really enjoyed this fun clean book! Mattie was very endearing and sweetness wins over the mean girl. The flawed hero is able to forgive and become a better person by the end, with an adorable mother, friend and brother! I will look for more books from Krista Phillips!

A great story with good plot and beautiful finish! I LOVED the narrator, too!! I want to hear more from Krista Phillips!!! But this is the only one on audible!!??

Loved this Book

Beautifully written story that is at times funny, sarcastic, traumatic but real. Although it's fiction the story comes to life in my heart and mind. Please write and release others in Audible. Loved it.
